In the World, we always want more and or, have .something that maybe better than what we all have.I'm guilty in many things I wanted more and the best, does this ring any bells in that simple part of the mind, enough is never enough and won't be. We need the power of Christ to break the cycle so that we can say with Paul," I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content " (PHILIPPIANS 4:11).
The phrase I have learned" smile .tells me that Paul did not meet every situation smile. Learning contentment required practice. His testimony included ups and downs ranging fro snake bites to soul-saving; false accusations to founding Churches. Yet he claimed that Jesus was the answer to true satisfaction. He said, " I can do All things through Christ who strengthens me "(V,13)Jesus had given him the spiritual muscle to endure lean times and avoid the pitfalls of abundance.(I have been through these pitfalls that Paul talks about, and now know and remember that contentment comes more, now I have more of Christ - --Fret not for want of earthly things;
They will never satisfy,
The secret of contentment is
To let the Lord supply!"
true contentment is not dependent on anything in this World!
