Dennis OsullivanEven though a person may appear to be indifferent towards faith in Jesus, still they are so precious to his or her parents, and God is still at work in their lives - no matter what the family situation may be, we know that " the Lord is so good; His mercy is everlasting, and His truth endures to all generations ".The Holy Spirit will help us remember that God is the one who causes our seed of faith to grow and we can leave our loved ones in His care, knowing the end of the story has not yet been written. And Gods' faithfulness extends to all generations. We hold different roles as parents, children, workers, leaders or students. We need to carry out those roles with a Jesus attitude- that was an attitude of service. Our daily routine may be sometimes tiring, but we can be thankful the Master help us because we do want to walk in His footsteps and ways in being of service to others. We need a servant's attitude to be like Jesus "! God patiently waits for His people to come to know Him, however someday soon Jesus will return and " the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements melt with fervent heat --2PETER 3:10). When this happens or when our physical bodies die, then it will be too late to establish a relationship with God. " The Lord is long-suffering towards us," Peter says," not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. Here and now if you have delayed deciding to follow Jesus Christ, there is good news, you can still commit yourself to Him. " If you declare with your mouth ' Jesus is Lord ", and believe in your heart that God raised from the dead, you will be saved " ( ROMANS 10.9 NIV ). He is calling run to Him, for Jesus, is tenderly calling for you and for me, on the portals He's waiting and watching for you and For me "!
