Dennis Osullivan Are we growing in grace, how to know!

Are we growing in grace, how to know!

We know we are called to grow in grace, by our God "2 Peter 3:18 ).

And every Christian who is walking with the Lord desires this growth !"

Grace nurtures our trust in God. There are three very specific ways can look at - but there are many others to study in Gods Word!

Grace does not shield us from trouble, but give us the ability to trust God in our troubles. Grace produces praise for God, the more we grow in grace, the more our heart are turned to lift God higher and higher and tuned to sing His Praise! Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord - Colossians 3:16 ).

Grace creates a desire to give to God and be charitable. To meet the needs of others, and give to further the work of God and the kingdom.

Are we growing in grace, it helps if we ask ourselves? 1) Am I increasingly trusting in God when we face difficulties, that we face, and rejoicing in the strength He gives to us? Do we praise God frequently and freely? Do we give more generously now than we used to? If the answer to these questions we ask ourselves is yes, that is good! If the answer is no or uncertain, ask God for His help to grow in these areas, read his Word, listen to the Holy Spirit, meditate and Ask the Lord for His grace to practice our actions of grace. Growth in grace takes time, but for a child of God yielded to the work of the Holy Spirit, for it will and does happen over time!

But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To Him be glory both now and forever... Amen

2 PETER 3:18

I thank you, father, for your word and guidance, I pray blessings on family, relatives and all around the Earth in Jesus holy name, Amen!
