Media SILENT After Obama Bombs This HOSPITAL

Over the weekend a U.S. airstrike in Afghanistan destroyed a Doctors Without Borders Hospital, killing 22 people. The hospital was situated in the city of Kundez, where the Taliban recently gained control nine months after President Obama declared the American war in Afghanistan over. The people killed were civilians escaping the Taliban and the medical professionals there to help them.

While it is clearly awful that this occurred, what is noticeable is that the media isn’t blaming President Obama for this. This is the same media that skewered President Bush for any perceived slight in Afghanistan or Iraq. And they seem to be brushing the new tragedy under the rug in order to protect their favorite President.

Senator John McCain was vocal in who he believes is to blame for this. The Washington Times reports McCain blames the Obama Administration’s withdrawal of troops from the war zone in Afghanistan and the “fog of war.”

“We call it fog of war, unfortunately. And it’s a tragedy, and our thoughts and prayers go out to them,” Mr. McCain, a former Navy fighter pilot in the Vietnam War who now chairs the Senate Armed Services Committee, said on CNN’s “State of the Union.”
He said that the tragedy likely would have been avoided if U.S. troops were on the ground with someone radioing instructions to helicopter gunships that purportedly carried out the attack.
“If we had had a forward air controller, it very most likely would not have happened. And this is also a result of our withdrawal,” said Mr. McCain, Arizona Republican.

The mainstream media has almost totally ignored the fact that Obama killed 22 innocents in a hospital, while shamelessly repeating his calls for gun control in the wake of the Oregon shooting tragedy.

While the press would have hounded President Bush personally over this airstrike, President Obama was given a pass. He didn’t let this affect his golf game as he was on the course shortly afterwards.
