This cartoon was created in response to controversial statements Obama made about judicial authority to turned down his signature Obamacare.
He basically said that the judiciary to show deference to legislation drafted by the Congress.. Umm NO!!! The judiciary should show deference to the CONSTITUTION!
A federal appeals court was so troubled by what Obama said that they ordered Eric Holder to clarify Obama's statements.
And he said (PDF):
"While duly recognizing the courts' authority to engage in judicial review, the Executive Branch has often urged courts to respect the legislative judgments of Congress,"
