Obama ramps up war on ‘transphobia’

Barack Obama – who once was dubbed by a magazine the “first gay president” and who has done more to normalize alternative sexual lifestyles such as homosexuality and transgenderism than any other American leader – on Tuesday ramped up his war on “transphobia.”
Obama expressed his support Tuesday for the International Day Against Homphobia, Transphobia and Biphobia with a statement.
“I am proud that my administration has made advancing the human rights of LGBT individuals a specific focus of our engagement around the world,” he said in a statement posted online at taxpayer expense. “I am also proud of the great strides that our nation has made at home in recent years, including that we now have marriage equality as a result of last year’s landmark Supreme Court decision.”
But he said there is “much work to be done to combat homophobia and transphobia, both at home and abroad.‎”
“In too many places, LGBT individuals grow up forced to conceal or deny who they truly are for fear of persecution, discrimination and violence. All nations and all communities can, and must, do better.”
The organizing group, which after more than 10 years of operations boasts more than 7,300 followers on Twitter, said “all over the world, advocates and their allies are fighting for what matters most to them: the right to be free from criminalization, persecution, stigmatisation.”
It said its movement is popular in the U.K. and Australia, as well as Albania, Belgium, Canada, Cuba, Moldova and Bhutan.
“Transgender beauty pageants, same-sex wedding ceremonies, conferences, lectures, community events and many more have been announced and will be reported on on (sic) our social media channels,” the group said.
Obama failed to mention the growing conflict in the United States as he presses harder for alternative sexual lifestyle privileges, such as his recent order to public schools to allow boys who “identify” as girls into girls bathrooms and shower rooms and vice versa,
The international group did bring it up, however.
“High visible recent victories, and some severe defeats, on LGBT issues on several fronts have certainly increased the focus of moral and religious fundamentalist movements on sexual and gender rights,” the group said. “Activists from the sexual and gender minorities movement now have to struggle against increasingly well funded, well organized movements, which are getting much better than before at occupying the ground of values that appeal even to otherwise socially progressive constituencies.”
In the U.S., the conflict rages on several fronts, including challenges to religious expression resulting from the creation of “same-sex marriage.”
WND reported Tuesday on a pre-emptive legal challenge in Phoenix by two Christian artists who want a court to strike down a city ordinance that discriminates against them to the benefit of homosexuals.
The lawsuit addresses an issue on which WND has reported extensively: the attack by governments on Christians who operate businesses according to their faith.
Progressive individuals and groups by the scores endorse the international day of phobias, but the reactions posted by readers illustrates the strong oppostion
Washington Times readers took direct aim at Obama’s agenda, describing it as faulty at best and dangerous at worst.
“Research shows that 70 percent of young gender confused youth grow out of it if given a chance. The suicide rate for transgenders is 300 to 400 percent higher than among normal. So they really don’t need bathroom privileges. They just need time to grow up, get over it,” said Max Saxon.
“Men who ‘identify’ and dress like Napoleon Bonaparte get locked up in an insane asylum,” said Cuthbert Twillie. “Men who ‘identify’ and dress like Marie Antoinette get to use the women’s bathroom. Welcome to Obama’s World.”
At WeaselZippers the comments quickly deteriorated, with one person, “Farnsworth,” posting: “Straightaphobic, hetrophobic is also acceptable. Whiteaphobic or caucasionaphobic. Westerncultureaphobic, moralaphobic, constitutionalaphobic, secondamendmentaphobic. Just to name a few. Feel free to add you own, since it’s made up word day.”
Reuters reported the U.K.’s foreign spy agency, MI6, flew a rainbow flag to mark the day.
“In January, the domestic intelligence agency MI5 was named the country’s most gay-friendly employer by rights group Stonewall,” the report said. “The flag was hoisted outside the Secret Intelligence Service’s building overlooking the River Thames, well known for its appearance in James Bond movies.”
Until 1990, even the left-leaning World Health Organization regarded homosexuality as a mental disorder.
One homosexual advocacy group also noted that 2016 is the first such holiday in which “the majority of the world believes it should not be a crime to be LGBTI.”
It said that in 2013 only 41 percent believed homosexuality should be legal. That figure rose who 53 percent in 2016.
Obama’s agenda, however, is facing serious backlash. The state of Texas has said it won’t follow his demands, several lawsuits have been filed and the state of North Carolina already has a law frustrating the president’s agenda.
Consequences already have been reported: An 8-year-old girl being strangled unconscious by a 33-year-old man in a girls’ restroom.
In the widely acclaimed new book “The Snapping of the American Mind,” award-winning journalist David Kupelian documents in a chapter titled “Gender Madness” precisely what the transgender phenomenon is really all about.
“In the world of reality, transgenderism (or transsexualism) is not normal. In fact, it’s so abnormal and unnatural that a staggeringly tragic 41 percent of all transgender individuals living in the United States have attempted to commit suicide, according to a 2010 study,” Kupelian wrote.
And more recently, “sex-change regret” is emerging as a huge reality, as The Federalist concluded in its “Trouble in Transtopia” report: “Biological truth has a way of outing itself. The hard reality of it is written right into our DNA as ‘male’ or ‘female.’ In the end, transgender activists and their media enablers won’t be able to drown that massive iceberg.”
In fact, former psychiatrist-in-chief at Johns Hopkins Hospital Paul R. McHugh, M.D., confirms that transgenderism is indeed a “mental disorder.”
Writing in the Wall Street Journal, McHugh, who is currently Hopkins’ Distinguished Service Professor of Psychiatry, cites a long-term Swedish study that followed transgendered persons for up to 30 years, revealing that “beginning about 10 years after having the surgery, the transgendered began to experience increasing mental difficulties.”:
“Most shockingly, their suicide mortality rose almost 20-fold above the comparable non-transgender population.”
WND columnist Jane Orient, M.C., asserted pushing boys into girls locker rooms is an idea based on “seriously flawed assumptions.”
“In fact, the science cannot be clearer. There are two sexes. Leaving aside rare conditions such as congenital adrenal hyperplasia, this is absolutely plain at birth, and not a matter of arbitrary ‘assignment.’ A person with a Y chromosome is through-and-through male in every cell in his body. If ‘Caitlyn’ Jenner’s skeleton is dug up a few hundred years from now, it will unequivocally be identified as male.
“Second, they both assume that it is possible to convert a male into a female and that doctors are helping a patient affirm his true identity by so doing,” she wrote.
“In fact, it is possible for a male to become a eunuch or female impersonator, but he will never be able to be somebody’s natural mother. And what do we do to a boy to try to make him appear female? Do we have any information about the long-term effects of female hormones starting in childhood? Maybe we will eventually, if we follow today’s experimental subjects – who are too young to consent and are likely not having the possible consequences spelled out. If castrated, they will lose forever the prospect of having natural offspring. And what will genital surgery do to urinary continence? How will hormones affect their risk of breast cancer? What about blood clots and strokes? And osteoporosis and fractures as they age? If adult athletes are forbidden to ‘dope’ with steroids, why is it acceptable for children?
“There are excellent reasons not to have boys and girls undressing in front of each other, and a transgender ‘girl’ is just a wedge. The real agenda is to further the sexual and cultural revolution: to undermine the family, to stigmatize the Christian faith and indeed all traditional morality, and to break down all resistance to a totalitarian state that dictates belief and behavior,” she warned.
