Turkish court tries Israelis in Gaza flotilla case
Absentia trial of four top IDF officers draws hundreds who chant ‘Death to Israel,’ wield Palestinian flags.
A Turkish court on Tuesday opened a trial in absentia of four former Israeli military commanders in the killing of nine people aboard a Turkish ship that tried to break the Gaza blockade.
Prosecutors have demanded life in prison for several officers in command at the time of the 2010 Israeli raid, but it appears unlikely that any sentence could be carried out.
Hundreds of people gathered outside an Istanbul criminal court that planned to hear testimony from passengers who were on the Gaza-bound ship at the time of the Israeli raid.
Gathered were also relatives of those who were killed.
Some called out “Death to Israel” and “Allah Akbar,” and wielded Turkish and Palestinian flags.
Nine pro-Palestinian activists – eight Turks and a Turkish-American – were killed aboard the vessel Mavi Marmara, part of an international flotilla trying to break the blockade, which Israel says it imposed in 2007 to keep Palestinian terrorists from bringing weapons into Gaza.

My comment:
Turkey is not suppose to be a banana republic. Turkey is a NATO country, and is supposed to defend the rule of laws, human rights and freedom of expression.
Do the Hamas support these values?
if the answer is no. Why did Turkey equip, supply and defend a ship who tried to brake the Israeli naval blockade of Gaza, in a bid to supply the Hamas?
The court trial in Turkey should have been an eye opener for all people who believe that Turkey is a suitable partner for lovers of liberty and freedom.
But mankind is no longer interested in supporting what is right. The existence of Israel is a proof that God of the Bible can be trusted, and that there is a judgment coming. Only if Israel disappear, “god” is dead, and man can continue to live in their sins without ay eternal consequence.
What fools are they who attack Israel, and believe they can destroy her:
Repent or perish.

Jeremiah 31:35-36Jesus the Messiah will soon return. He will set up His judgment throne in Jerusalem.
This is what the Lord says,
he who appoints the sun to shine by day, who decrees the moon and stars to shine by night, who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar— the Lord Almighty is his name:
“Only if these decrees vanish from my sight,” declares the Lord, “will the descendants of Israel ever cease to be a nation before me.”
Repent or perish.
