How Do You Deal With Such A Man As This?

I don’t have a pithy reply to that. How can you argue with a man who believes he ought to get a cookie for shaving less than a percent from a deficit larger than most of us can readily imagine? How can you cut a deal with a man whose goal is your utter humiliation and lasting defeat? How do you bargain with a man who, quite literally, does not care of every entitlement system we have fails catastrophically, so long as he’s not one of the people in charge when they do?
More importantly, how do you negotiate in good faith with a political party run by Harry Reid and a host of others who think just like him?
I don’t have an answer. Yet.
“Now remember, we’ve already done more than a billion dollars worth of cuts. We’ve already done that. So we need to get some credit for that.”
