Netanyahu: No Iranian bomb on my watch

Channel 2 report shows spat between Olmert, Barak as they struggled to cope with growing Iranian, Syrian nuclear activity.
Ehud Barak and Benjamin Netanyahu have sworn an oat that Iran shall not be able to produce a nuclear bomb.
Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has pledged that Iran will not develop nuclear weapons if he is reelected on January 22.
“As long as I am prime minister Iran will not have nuclear weapons,” he said.
Netanyahu spoke in a prerecorded Channel 2 interview aired on the Uvda investigative journalism program on Monday night, as he linked stopping Iranian nuclear weapons to his bid for another term as prime minister.
He said that when he entered office four years ago, there were barely any real sanctions on the Islamic Republic. He had placed all his efforts on thwarting Iran’s nuclear program.
Netanyahu said international leaders including US President Barack Obama and French President François Hollande have agreed that Israel has a right to defend itself.

My comment:
The Prime Minister of Israel is bold in his talk on Iran. Israel is facing an election in January, and the Likud party seems to get another chance to form the government.
If Likud win, Benjamin Netanyahu will continue to be the Prime Minister.
We can be sure, that Israel and Iran is facing a showdown. Either Mahmoud Ahmadinejad or Benjamin Netanyahu will have to eat the words they have spoken.
 Jeremiah 31:3
The LORD appeared to us in the past, saying: “I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with loving-kindness.
For God of the Bible, most men act like fools.  You can be sure that Jesus the Messiah will return to Jerusalem. Either the Islamic republic of Iran like it or not.
