WHY ARE N.C. EARLY VOTING MACHINES CHANGING ROMNEY VOTES TO OBAMA?

Just as TheBlaze reported a couple years ago about a “possessed” machine in Texas only allowing votes to be cast for the Green Party, an early voting machine in North Carolina was experiencing a similar issue.
My Fox 8 reported that in Guilford County, some casting early ballots found that when they voted for Republican candidate Mitt Romney, the machine appeared to change it to the Democrat candidate Barack Obama.

But poll officials said this is “not a conspiracy.” The electronic voting machines merely need to be recalibrated.
Guilford County Board of Elections Director George Gilbert said calibration issues are something that happen every election.
Still, voters were upset over the fact that this mistake was even a possibility.
“I was so upset that this could happen,” said Sher Coromalis, who cast her vote for Romney, according to My Fox 8. After a third go at voting, it registered correctly.
This issue was reported on Monday and was fixed by Tuesday at the Bur-Mil Park polling location. No further problems have been reported.
Watch the report:
In a recent interview with Pamela Smith, president of Verified Voting, TheBlaze learned voters experiencing issues with machines or problems at polling locations can contact the Election Protection hotline at 1-866-OUR-VOTE or use the app available for Android and iPhone. Smith too cited calibration as an issue with electronic voting machines, which should not go unreported. This is also a good example of why it is important to double check your vote was accurately recorded.
Smith said it is important to let poll workers know of the problem before you officially cast your vote. Stay tuned more information about different polling technologies, what can go wrong with them, and what you can do about it in an upcoming post on TheBlaze.
