A WORD TO THE CHRISTIAN WORKER

YOU are to realise that you are called by God to the particular portion of the vineyard in which you find yourself. You are not to cast your eye over all the place, and wish you were at the other end where some of God's servants are cutting down the ripe grain, and carrying it into the storehouse. If your work is sowing you are to stick to it—if it is weeding—if it is watering—whatever it is, you are to do it as God has called yon. 

For your particular work, you may have special grace; and you are to seek this. Don't trouble yourself about a change of work—God will direct all your steps. But get power to perform the thing in hand. 

Get the power

—not merely ask it,

 but open your heart and receive it, 

for "he that seeketh findeth."
