DHS blacks out ammo purchase quantities, stockpiles ammo in secret

FedBizOpps.govgovernment website has been clearly blacked out with a marker in the sections that indicate quantities of ammunition purchased.

Just within the past six months, DHS has stockpiled more than one billion rounds of ammo, including 450 million rounds of .40 caliber hollow point ammo earlier this year to fight "homegrown terrorism" (http://www.naturalnews.com/035649_DHS_ammunition_domestic_war.html). But this latest purchase has more people than ever questioning what the eerily Nazi SS-like agency is up to now with its blatant censorship and secrecy.
According to the FedBizOpps.gov announcement, DHS is paying nearly $5 million to have Minnesota-based Federal Cartridge Company produce an unknown quantity of both .223 62 grain duty and .223 64 grain duty ammo for U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and the U.S. Federal Protective Service (FPS). The ammo will reportedly be used for both training and "performance of duties" purposes.
But the fact that it was decided by someone, somewhere, to go back and redact certain pieces of information from the purchase document in violation of the law is raising all sorts of red flags. Apart from specific Congressional authorization or a legitimate national security reason, it is not legally permissible to redact this type of information from federal purchase documents.

As you will notice, the redacted document states that "full and open competition" was not involved with this particular government purchase, and that the reason for this was an "unusual and compelling urgency." However, the document does not state the precise nature of, or reason for, this dubious "urgency," or what this even means.
According to Infowars, DHS is also busy buying up riot gear in conjunction with this and other large ammo purchases in recent months. As we have pointed out previously, such rapid acquisition of ammo, military gear, and storable food by federal government occupiers suggests that civil unrest and social chaos are on the horizon in the very near future.
Many NaturalNews readers will also remember the troubling announcement by DHS head and "Big Sis" Janet Napolitano last December about a supposed massive influx of immigrants into the U.S. At the time of the announcement, Napolitano suggested that the federal government would have to come up with plans to deal with the "shelter" and "processing" of large numbers of people.
