WHEN WORLDS COLLIDE – WITHIN THE CHURCH!
Nehemiah rebuilding Jerusalem
In Ezekiel, God calls watchmen to protect His people and His city against an enemy who is dismissing His Word as truth. In the book of Nehemiah, one man is instructed by God to rebuild the wall in Jerusalem because the enemy has already breached the city, and the wall lies in ruins.
As Nehemiah begins to rebuild and fortify the walls, many including Sanballat the Horonite opposed his work. These days Christians are often called “Sanballats” as part of a strategy among Purpose Driven leaders in an effort to shame and silence anyone who tries to warn their church about dangerous teachings that have breached the walls. Our question today is, who are the real Sanballats?
Today we’re talking about opposing worldviews. Not the worldviews of the World versus the Body of Christ, but conflicting worldviews right here within the Church over movements attacking and dividing the sheep over whether God’s Word is sovereign and true. Imagine that: Two opposing worldviews right within our own walls.
We’ve got lots of news headlines to cover today. In our first segment we’re going to check in with Dr. Cal Beisner of the Cornwall Alliance for the Stewardship of Creation. Dr. Cal is going to share how the re-shaping of those worldviews starts at a very young age, through something as innocent-sounding as environmental awareness.
Dr. Cal is the author of Resisting the Green Dragon, and was an instrumental resource and interviewee for the new documentary movie, AGENDA: Grinding America Down, a ministry in itself showing how end times prophesies are already playing out and have been for years. It’s one of those films every Christian should see and share. Dr. Cal has also just launched In His Image 2012.
