communist unionsI love it when Leftists are honest (it’s so rare, it makes a very special treat).
This video from an Occupy DC meeting recently shows former Amalgamated Transit Union local 689 president Mike Golash admitting that the goal of today’s unions are to promote communism and overturn our free market system.
He admits the goal of his fellow unionists and Marxist Occupiers: “An organization has to be built which can bring down capitalism.”
“Its objective,” Golash says, “is to make revolution in the United States, overthrow the capitalist system and build communism.”
If workers want to organize and bargain collectively with their employer, they are free to attempt this. Likewise, in a free country, if an employer wants to reject the collective efforts of a union to negotiate, they, as the owners of the company are free to do so. Contrary to the desire of the Left, property rights do still exist in America. Leveraging the might of government to force unionism on business is contrary to freedom and the American way.
Notice, too, how this deluded Marxist talks about our nation’s defense and security forces as if they belonged to some political or economic faction within our country, instead of to our country as a whole. Perhaps in his warped mind, since America as a whole is his enemy (since the freedom and free market way of life that is at the heart of America is enemy to him), he really believes this bilge.
Keep these things in mind as we move ever closer to 2012 Election Day. Remember and spread the word that these are the people who the leaders of the Democrat Party have commended and embraced. Unlike the patriotic, Constitution-loving Tea Party that the Left has vilified, the Left has expressed sympathy with the Occupy Wall Street movement.
Despite having a lame GOP presidential nominee, nevertheless your White House and Congress choices could not be more clear: preserve the American way, or trade it in for the anti-American Marxist philosophy that has brought misery, oppression and failure everywhere around the world that it’s ever been tried.

Danielle Saul, Nick Tomboulides, and Andrew McCaughey record radical remarks made at DC Occupy meeting.
