A man violently struck his wife last Thursday because she removed her veil. The courts have just sentenced him to 2 years, including 6 months without remission. The young 24-year-old woman and her husband were on holiday in Marseilles. When they were leaving a supermarket, the wife, no longer able to bear the heat, lifted her veil back up. Her husband found the sight of her naked neck intolerable and punched her several times until her nose was broken.Source: Elle.fr
