On February 11, 2007, the junior senator from Illinois announced his candidacy for the President of the United States. And every day ever since, he has performed as a candidate.
Even after he won the election he is still running as candidate Obama. A man with a plan to save America. Shouldn’t he have already implemented that plan? Shouldn’t he be fulfilling those promises, instead of making new ones.
Why has he not embraced the role as president, instead of running as if he has yet to win it?
Three years and he now has a New Plan that would restore America. Restore America from what? His previous plans? The promises he made the first part of the race that were never fulfilled??
If his plans were so good the first time around, why not just continue them instead of making new ones in the event he wins again??
Running Against Himself
The first half of his candidacy, he ran against George Bush. the President. Candidate Obama spent his time telling us what was wrong with America and blaming it on the president. That if he was elected, he had a plan to fix it all.
Now President Obama can’t blame Bush anymore. Yet he is running on the same line. “Elect me because I have a plan that will fix what the current administration broke.” So it seems like he is running against himself, just not mentioning it. He says he has a better plan, that if elected, his plan would fix what is wrong with America.
If there is something wrong with America, isn’t it the fault of the President? Like he claimed in 2007?? If so, than he is admitting that He is failing. SO he needs a new plan.
He just needs us to see that it wasn’t his fault, because he is not president yet. If we elect him again, he will fix what the current administration screwed up… What Obama the president did wrong can be fixed by what Obama the candidate promises he can do if elected again….
