Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly had a Talking Points segment on his show, in which he analyzed president Barack Obama’s alleged emotional attachment to the religion of Islam, and the effects it has had on the United States.

He also presented 20-year-old photographs of the president, decked out in Islamic garb as further evidence of his close personal affinity to the religion.

“Many Americans believe Barack Obama’s emotional attachment to the Muslim world is hurting the USA.”
He goes on to point out that the administrations greatest failure is the allowance of the Islamic terrorist group, ISIS, to “run wild.”

O’Reilly furthered this point by saying,

“President Obama has never acknowledged this mistake, nor does he define the ISIS threat accurately.”
One could even add on that the time when the president referred to the terrorist organization as a group of amateurs was proof that Obama had underestimated their ability, their goal of death and destruction, and their capability to establish their own government- the Islamic State.

“That group is killing innocent people in order to impose a radical version of Islam on the world. The jihad is solely based on theology, perverted as it may be.”
O’Reilly laid out several points of reasoning to establish why the president refused to accurately describe radical Islamic terrorists as what they are.

“Barack Obama’s father, who abandoned his family, was a Muslim who eventually turned atheist.
Then his mother married another Muslim, moving young Barry to Indonesia, where he was exposed to the Islamic world, even though he did attend a Catholic school in first grade.”
O’Reilly then pointed out that Obama attended the wedding of his Muslim half brother in the early 1990’s, believed to have been held in the United States, in which the future president was dressed in Islamic attire.

The Fox News host then admitted that he himself was Catholic, and as a Catholic, he was appalled by the sex scandal that happened in the Catholic Church, years ago, and the leaders who tried to cover it up.

O’Reilly said that he went after the American leaders of the Catholic Church “with a vengeance.”

Barack Obama however, as O’Reilly points out, does not go after the Muslims who abuse the Muslim faith, or acknowledge that those who are committing atrocities are doing so under the banner of religion.

“He should make defeating the jihad a central issue and stop trying to diminish Islamic terrorism.”
For all of these reasons, O’Reilly believes that Obama’s emotional attachment to the religion has hurt the United States.
