TIME IS UP - IF ATTORNEY GENERAL ERIC HOLDER WON'T APPOINT A SPECIAL COUNSEL TO INVESTIGATE THE IRS HE SHOULD STEP ASIDE...GET SOMEONE WHO WILL TO BE ATTORNEY GENERAL
The Attorney General's job is to make sure laws are enforced -- not to cover for those who might have committed crimes. I don't know what is going on at the IRS, but it certainly warrants a FAIR and COMPLETE investigation -- not a dodge by an Attorney General. This latest email round from Lois Lerner, showing that she targeted a Republican US Senator for the most bizarre thing demands a thorough investigation. If she or anyone else at the IRS unfairly goes after a US Senator, imagine what they might have done about someone without power. WE NEED A FULL, FAIR and COMPLETE INVESTIGATION. Attorney General Eric Holder is standing in the way. I am surprised at him -- when he was a Judge years ago he was fair. And now? he just won't be fair to the American people and get answers. If the IRS has done no wrong, if Lois Lerner has done no wrong, they deserve to have that known and so do the American people. If on the other hand, they are dirty, crimes have been committed, then they should be prosecuted. Only a thorough investigation by a independent person, a SPECIAL PROSECUTOR, will get answers. Ordinarily I would think the Justice Department with a career prosecutor could do this investigation but the mere fact that we are so far down the road in this and Holder has shown no interest in a full investigation proves to me that the Justice Department under his leadership can't do an investigation that the American people can now have confidence in. Attorney General Eric Holder, if he doesn't want to do his job for the American people, then he should step down....and now.
