The US State Department said to be "very concerned" about Bae's health.
MOrocco(North Korea)—Numerous reports reveal that the US State Department is "very concerned" regarding the health of American missionary Kenneth Bae—arrested in 2012 in North Korea and sentenced to 15 years hard labor—after he was transferred back to a labor camp following a brief hospital stay.
Bae, 45, is a naturalized US citizen, and a devout Christian, who was born in South Korea, but operated tour groups to North Korea to facilitate commerce in that nation.
CNN report has quoted Bae as saying, "I know if I continue for the next several months here, I will probably be sent back to the hospital again."
In a video taken with a Swedish diplomat last week, Bae says he suffers from back and neck pain but that he remains "strong mentally and spiritually, and I am trying to stay strong emotionally as well."
