Obama’s Next Ambassador To The UN Wants The Destruction Of Israel
Obama’s pick to be the next US Ambassador to the UN seems to be cut from the same cloth as Obama himself. Although I am not sure if she is a closet Muslim as well, Samantha Power definitely has some radical ideas herself. In fact, some of these ideas might even make Obama balk! But still he has seen fit to appoint her for the position and now it is up to our wonderful Senators as to whether or not she will be confirmed.
But before we talk about exactly what some of these insane ideas and positions are, lets take a look at the qualifications for a US Ambassador. First of all, the Ambassador is almost the equivalent to the head of an embassy or a head of state. They act as the official representative of the US President. These individuals must first apply to the US Foreign Service and be between the ages of 20 and 59. They should be well-educated in a number of different subjects and able to pass the Foreign Service Exam. The qualified person must also be able to solve problems quickly and fairly, while at the same time encouraging diplomatic relationships.
Back to Samantha Power. For starters, she has a long history of calling for the destruction of Israel. Yes, she has actually come out and stated her support for groups like Hamas, which are hell-bent on only a single goal: the total anhilation of the modern state of Israel. Never mind the fact that Israel is our only real ally anywhere in the Middle East region, just the fact that she wants a nation to be destroyed is quite revolting, isn’t it? Imagine if George Bush had come out and said that he wanted Iraq to be completely destroyed…that would have put the final nail in his coffin as far as the liberals were concerned.
She has stated that Hamas is needed because they are a counter balance to Israel. Wow. It is interesting that she thinks Israel needs a counter balance. Isn’t the fact that they are surrounded by countries on all sides that literally want to push all of their inhabitants into the sea? And, of course, she is in favor of funding the Palestinian Authority and Hamas and even giving them military assets in order to be able to oppose Israel. I guess she figures that an aggressive group of people who continuously show their willingness to militarily strike first needs to have more weaponry to use not for defense, but offensive purposes!
Power is also a former journalist. Of course, she was considered to be a “left-wing” activist even then. She once compared the US to Nazi Germany in its foreign aid practices. We are apparently too stingy with all the money that we throw around the globe. I guess we just have not given enough to Muslim groups yet for her liking. And she has also said that the US is a supporter of genocides. Crazy.
What else? Oh yes, Power has claimed that the US is guilty of “war crimes” and should apologize to the world. Of course, she failed to elaborate as to what these “war crimes” might be. And she even called for the US to invade Israel and destroy the country, despite ‘the powerful’ political constituency here in the US. Hmmm…would that powerful force perhaps be the Jewish people in the US? And of course, all of this leads to the fact that we should fund the Palestinians in order for them to oppose Israel.
Going back to the list of qualifications which need to be present in an Ambassador shows that Power fails. She has even stated that the US is a “liberal democracy.” No, Ms. Power, we are a Constitutional Republic. And the fact that she does not know or acknowledge this fact means that she should have failed her Foreign Service Exam right there on the spot.
I wish I was making this up. But, sadly, it is all true and there is video proof. Please take a look for yourself: the crazy Samantha Power.
It would be not only a grave mistake to approve this Anti-Semite as the next US Ambassador to the UN, but it would be a travesty. Personally, I have a number of Jewish friends, some of whom live in Israel. If Power is approved I will feel a great deal of shame about the actions of my country and our ill-informed Senators and Muslim President.
I would urge every concerned citizen to email, call, and otherwise contact their Senator and Congressman to voice their opinion on this matter that Power NOT be confirmed as our next Ambassador.
