Fatah Honors Murderer of Evyatar Borovsky on Facebook

Fatah’s official Facebook page supports the recent murder of Evyatar Borovsky, a 31-year-old father of five small children.12 hours after 31-year-old Evyatar Borovsky was murdered, Fatah’s Facebook page praised the terrorist who committed this heinous crime. According to a report by Palestinian Media Watch, the Fatah Facebook page posted the picture of the Palestinian terrorist who performed this crime and declared, “A picture of the settler who was killed today at the Al-Za’atara military checkpoint, in south Nablus, by the hero, the released prisoner, Salam As’ad Al-Zaghal from Tulkarem. The Fatah Facebook page also declared, “Peace upon you, on the day of your birth, on the day of your arrest, and on the day you will go free.”
Al-Zaghal, from the village of Shweika, originally was imprisoned for throwing rocks at Jewish civilians. Yet, upon being released, he decided to return to terror using more dangerous weapons, with catastrophic results for his victim. According to Fatah’s Facebook page, “Salam Al-Zaghal who stabbed the settler at the Al-Za’atara checkpoint is a released prisoner who sat in the occupation’s prisons for 4 years.” He is now back in prison because he chose to return to terror, yet like all of the other Palestinian terrorists, he will receive a salary from Fatah, which is subject to be raised depending on how long he remains in jail. Although it is too soon to know for sure why he did this, some analysts have speculated that he was trying to cleanse his family name after his brother was accused of collaborating with Israel by the Palestinian Authority, a capital offense.
Evyatar Borovsky was a very well respected member of Israeli society. He was part of an acting group that performed across Judea and Samaria. This particularly acting group utilizes therapeutic psychodrama that incorporated role-playing with improvisation in order to help trauma victims overcome their hardships. One friend described him as a very intellectual person and “one of the most talented and funniest people,” who was very much committed to living in the heartland of the Jewish people even though most of the members of his acting group did not live in Judea and Samaria.Another friend stated, “Art was his soul,” emphasizing that Evyatar was a person who sought to help people utilizing theater and comedy. Upon being murdered merely for being part of the wrong ethnic group, he left behind a young widow and five small children, the oldest of whom is seven years of age. Fatah has zero remorse about any of this. To the contrary, the armed wing of Fatah, the Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigade, took responsibility for this terror attack and referred to the murder as a “gift” to Palestinian terrorists serving time in Israeli prisons, calling upon the Palestinian people to wage more terror attacks.
This incident was only the latest instance of Fatah supporting terrorism on their Facebook page. On the eleventh anniversary of the suicide bombing of Ayat Al Akhras, the Fatah Facebook page declared, “We are committed to your promise. We are committed to the promise of freedom, oh bride of Palestine, Ayat Al Akhras.” Similarly, on the anniversary of the death ofWafa Idris, another Palestinian female suicide bomber, the Fatah Facebook page proclaimed, “This is the hero whose name the Zionists will remember well, and so will Palestinians: the hero who sacrificed herself and her body for Palestine and became a symbol of the struggle and of Palestinian loyalty through one of the most honorable martyrdom seeking operations in recent years, which surprised the Zionist enemy and a symbol of the self-sacrifice of lovely Palestinian girls for the sake of their homeland. Years have passed since that day, and the name Wafa Idris is still a lesson that terrifies the Jews.” This does not even include instances where the Fatah leadership directly praised Palestinian terrorists.By Rachel Avraham
