When You Have Nothing To Lose, Do The Right Thing

I looked at my husband today and seriously asked, what happened to morality? Where have ethics gone? Where is G-d in our country’s equation? Did I miss a decade?
Progressivism seems to have engulfed both sides of the aisle these days. It’s becoming harder and harder to tell the difference between the right and the left. Looks like we really have gone moderate — in a Socialized manner of speaking — Marxism for all! I have lost any faith I ever had in the parties that be. I do believe it’s third party time.
I watched this week as Boehner purged conservatives from financial committees etc. in a move reminiscent of Stalin, with rumors that he will purge even more. Evidently this was an attempt to appease the left by saying, “See! We are just like you. Please don’t hurt us.” And/or it was to punish those Republicans who don’t toe the line and are too frisky conservatively. Obama made it very clear he is willing to go off the fiscal cliff. Hell, he can’t wait, because he knows it all can be blamed on conservatives and he will get to cut taxes (selectively and marginally) in the end and look like a true hero of the State. While in reality, taxes will be raised on all. It never ends. No matter what Republicans do, they will be blamed in the end. The left and its pet media will make sure of it. By the way, this is not austerity. The left claims that Republicans are caught in an austerity trap. Austerity is not cutting ‘future’ spending. It is cutting current spending and being frugal with future spending. What the Republicans are caught in is a borrow and spend trap, versus the Democrat’s spend, borrow and tax trap. Both are killers because of excess spending and I will say it again — you cannot tax your way out of this hole. True austerity is what will happen when Obama finishes collapsing America.
The fact is, the Republicans compromise because they are weak. They have no fire in their belly – they don’t truly believe in anything but their political stations. Republicans are out planned, out thought, out organized and out fought… Too afraid of offending someone or something or missing out on power and money to stand on principles or faith. Too corrupt to coalesce and fight for what is honorable and right.
Obama is in an all out move to destroy the Republican party. Sultan Knish says it sooo well:
The fiscal cliff is Obama’s way of splitting the Conservative grass roots, who are a threat to him, from the established Republican Party, which is not.
We need to move to the right, not moderate. Not capitulate – that is suicide. We need to return to Constitutional principles and adhere to what made this country great: faith, freedom and hard work. In the end, true freedom is never found in a paycheck – slavery is. It is found in working for oneself – something that Benjamin Franklin promoted and showed the true success of. If you control your own wealth and your own food, you are free. If you do not, you are a serf of those in control.
America cries out for a strong leader who is not afraid of saying what they believe in. We may not agree with all they say, but we will support someone of strong conviction, staunch principles and moral fiber. Again to borrow from Sultan Knish:
The bottom line is organize, radicalize or lose. The left knew this and won on it.
He is so very right. For many years I have said that I would be willing to vote for a waitress, a truck driver or a construction worker who adhered to conservative principles and their lack of campaign funds would be a plus, not a detriment. I am sick of the rich elite telling us which way to vote, rigging elections and giving us a Hobson’s choice at election time. To truly win my support now, a candidate will have to go back to our founding principles in the Constitution, or forget it. Since Constitutional conservatives are in the minority, it is time to reform and truly fight, not settle. I have always backed the Tea Party and still do, but they need to get organized, get serious and play hardball. Our country and the future of our children is at stake. Now is the time to double down and go to war. Because war has surely come to us.
The Republicans led by Boehner and Cantor show a stunning lack of integrity and the only aptitude I’ve seen so far is one of groveling and servitude. That’s not what we need — we need real leaders with a spine and moral fortitude — or it is over. Obama plays dirty, because little things such as ethics don’t hinder him. We can fight him and keep our souls intact, but it has to be all out and with a plan.
We stand on the brink of world war with a nuclear/chemical/biological aspect. We have been infiltrated by the enemies within our government and centers of control. America is poised on, or has already gone over, the fiscal cliff and a financial whirlpool awaits us at the bottom threatening to suck America into worldwide darkness fiscally and literally. Christians and Jews are being persecuted more and more worldwide. And the UN is casting its evil blue specter over the globe with treaties and Agenda 21. All we need now is a super solar flare to make things complete (sorry gang, not buying the end of the world on Dec. 21st). It would be easy to throw up our hands, say leave it to G-d and wait for it all to come down. But that is not what Americans do. We fight. We need to bannish the depression we have felt since the election, stop wetting ourselves and gird our loins for battle. We lost a battle, not the war, so damn it… act like it!
There is a simple formula: when you have nothing to lose, do the right thing. Boehner could do the right thing and tell Obama no. He won’t, he’ll ‘compromise.’ And that folks, should be the end of the Republicans. They have gone the way of the Whigs. Time for Constitutional conservatives to stand up and fight.
An apropos quote from ReaganTeaPartyConservative:
“A nation can survive its fools and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and he carries his banners openly against the city. But the traitor moves among those within the gates freely, his sly whispers rustling through all alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears no traitor; he speaks in the accents familiar to his victim, and he wears their face and their garments and he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation; he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of a city; he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to be feared. The traitor is the plague.”
Marcus Tullius Cicero, Roman Orator – 106-43 B.C.
