Frightening new reason to fear police

Frightening new reason to fear police

A key distinction between the U.S. and other nations, even relatively free nations, long has been American restrictions on domestic use of the military, for police actions, law enforcement and keeping things under control.
However, when the local police officer or sheriff’s deputy is equipped with night vision goggles, laser-scope rifles, electronic eavesdropping equipment and body armor and comes up a citizen’s driveway in a military-type personnel carrier with shielded windows and oversize wheels, the prohibitions seem to lose some of their teeth.
It’s an issue on which WND has reported for more than a decade, and others now are taking note.
Since 1878, with the passage of the Posse Comitatus Act, it has long been an established legal principle that the federal government is not allowed to use the military to enforce federal or state laws.
In recent years, the law has been modified to allow the president to deploy federal troops to enforce the law. Two of the most notable cases are President Dwight Eisenhower’s decision to send federal troops into Little Rock, Ark., to enforce desegregation and the 1992 Los Angeles riots.
However, while American armed forces may be limited in their ability to enforce the law, the act is essentially being circumvented by militarizing local enforcement, equipping it with some of the same equipment, training and tactics used in war zones.
Radley Balko raised the issue recently a Wall Street Journal article, “Rise of the Warrior Cop.” He says the trend is to erase the line between military and law enforcement.
“Since the 1960s, in response to a range of perceived threats, law-enforcement agencies across the U.S., at every level of government, have been blurring the line between police officer and soldier,” Balko wrote. “Driven by martial rhetoric and the availability of military-style equipment – from bayonets and M-16 rifles to armored personnel carriers – American police forces have often adopted a mindset previously reserved for the battlefield.”
Balko said the “war on drugs and, more recently, post-9/11 antiterrorism efforts have created a new figure on the U.S. scene: the warrior cop – armed to the teeth, ready to deal harshly with targeted wrongdoers, and a growing threat to familiar American liberties.”
The number of local jurisdictions with SWAT teams has increased dramatically in recent years, employed now by the majority of police departments in small and medium-sized cities.
Balko cites surveys by criminologist Peter Kraska of Eastern Kentucky University, who noted that in 1983 just 13 percent of towns between 25,000 and 50,000 people had a SWAT team. However, by 2005 the figure was up to 80 percent.
With the increase in the number of SWAT teams, local police have increasingly used the new technology and training even in cases in which their use is questionable.
The article noted that along with the increase in the number of SWAT teams has come a corresponding increase in raids by the military-style trained officers. In the 1970s there were just a few hundred raids per year, however, in the 1980s the number of raids jumped to 3,000 per year. In 2005, the number is a stratospheric 50,000.
Balko highlighted the case of Matthew Stewart, a U.S. military veteran. Police got a tip he was growing marijuana in his basement. Stewart was awakened when the battering ram knocked down the door and. Thinking he was being attacked by criminals, he picked up a firearm and began shooting before being killed by officers.

After the shooting, police found 16 marijuana plants, and although the plants were illegal, there was no evidence he was selling the drug. Stewart’s father said his son suffered from post-traumatic stress disorder and may possibly have used the marijuana to self-medicate.
While many Americans are concerned about the increased firepower possessed by local law enforcement, Balko said the problem is more pervasive than just local police departments, noting that many federal departments now have their own personal SWAT department.
Among the government agencies with their own SWAT teams are the Department of the Interior, NASA and the Fish and Wildlife Service.
Even the Department of Education has its own “special forces” team.
Balko noted the federal department has sent SWAT team members to raid the home of a woman who authorities said was suspected of defrauding the federal student loan program. The raid raised eyebrows because it was it was the first time the public was aware the Education Department possessed such a unit.
Whenever the issue is brought up, officials claim the increased armament and hardware is needed because of threats faced by law enforcement that were not present decades ago. In the 1980s the rationale was the war on drugs, while in recent years it has been preventing domestic terrorist attacks.
However, the data does not back up such claims. The Colorado-based Independence Institute noted in a 1991 study that less than one-eighth of 1 percent of U.S. homicides were committed with military-style weapons. In the years since the 1991 report, additional studies have all reached similar conclusions including one by the Clinton Justice Department in 1995 and the National Institute for Justice in 2004.
While police departments have engaged in military tactics and training for their SWAT teams, they have been frequently limited by law and by finances. However, after the Muslim terrorist attacks on 9/11, the Department of Homeland Security began to offer federal grants to allow local police departments to upgrade their arsenal.
The Center for Investigative Reporting has said that since its inception in 2002, DHS has doled out $35 billion in grants to help militarize police forces with items such as grenade launchers and even armored personnel carriers.
In 1999, WND reported a proposed change in a federal regulation would be going into effect that would allow federal agencies to donate “surplus” firearms to state and local law enforcement entities.
The previous regulation permitted federal agencies to donate or sell trucks, boats, aircraft and even space vehicles to state and local agencies and to individuals. But the federal property management regulations drew a line in the sand when it came to agencies like the Forest Service or FBI transferring actual weapons either by gift or sale.
But under the new regulations, used handguns, rifles, shotguns, individual light automatic weapons up to 50 caliber, and rifle and shoulder-fired grenade launchers up to 75 mm could be transferred to state agencies for donation to state and local public agencies.
In 2011, the Pentagon gave away $500 million in military equipment to help bolster the armories of local law-enforcement.
Earlier this year the American Civil Liberties Union became concerned about the issue, saying in March it was filing a series of open records requests in 25 states and National Guard offices in an attempt to discover the extent to which federal funding have helped local police departments become more militarized.
“Federal funding in the billions of dollars has allowed state and local police departments to gain access to weapons and tactics created for overseas combat theaters – and yet very little is known about exactly how many police departments have military weapons and training, how militarized the police have become, and how extensively federal money is incentivizing this trend,” the ACLU said on its website.
While the issue is now beginning to generate concern over perceived threats to constitutional liberties by the Obama administration in light of the IRS and NSA scandals, WND founder and CEO Joseph Farah began reporting the trend to militarize the police in 1998.
In a column headlined “The cops are out of control,” Farah lamented that while in years past seeing a police officer gave him a sense of security, it was no longer the case because of recent actions by SWAT teams.
“The recent incidents in Oklahoma, where police shot an unarmed mother holding her child in her home, in Virginia, where a SWAT team killed a watchman guarding a dice game at an after-hours club and in California, where a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms raid on a gun shop resulted in the death of the shopkeeper, provide some hard evidence that police in America may be getting out of control,” Farah warned at the time.
He went on to note the danger of police agencies acquiring military gear even back then.
“The biggest danger we face is the federalization and militarization of all law enforcement. Interagency task forces, bringing together local and state police with federal agents are now the rule of the day,” Farah noted. “Federal agencies bribe local cops with funding, equipment and training programs.”
The challenged to the Fourth Amendment generated by the use of SWAT teams and no-knock warrants is likely to continue as a result of a ruling by the Indiana Supreme Court in 2011.
In a 3-2 ruling, the court ruled that there is no right for a private citizen to resist illegal entry by a police officer. The court stated in its ruling “that there is no right to reasonably resist unlawful entry by police officers.”
The case involved Richard Barnes, who faced misdemeanor charges for resisting a police officer who had entered his home without a warrant. According to the ruling, the case began when Barnes got into an argument with his wife, Mary. During the argument Barnes threw a phone against a wall, prompting his wife to call 911. She told the dispatcher that Barnes was throwing things but did not strike her. The call went out as “domestic violence in progress.”
Officer Lenny Reed arrived at the scene and met Richard Barnes outside as he was leaving with luggage. Barnes told the officer he was leaving and raised his voice. Mary Barnes then came out, threw a bag at her husband and told him to get the rest of his stuff.
The couple returned to the apartment and Richard Barnes blocked the officers from entering. Reed attempted to enter the apartment and was thrown against the wall by Barnes. Officers Jason Henry and Reed used a choke hold and Taser to subdue Barnes.
After being found guilty of battery on a police officer, resisting law-enforcement and disorderly conduct, Richard Barnes appealed the ruling. His basis was that the jury had not been given instructions regarding the right of a citizen to reasonably resist entry into his home.
The Indiana Supreme Court, in a stunning conclusion, stated: “This court is faced for the first time with the question of whether Indiana should recognize the common-law right to reasonably resist unlawful entry by police officers.”
“We conclude that public policy disfavors any such right.”
A WND columnist excoriated the ruling, saying, “Our founders, whatever the differences among them, would be enraged” at the notion that private citizens secure in their homes have no right to resist entry by officers without a warrant.

Women beaten
Five women, Bansari, Jaladhi, Kuyil, Sunita and Viveka, were beaten in India for sharing the gospel. (Gospel for Asia)
Five women have been beaten by a man in the Andhra Pradesh region of India while sharing about the love of Jesus in a public marketplace. Amazingly spared, they retreated to safety, thanking God for the honor of suffering for His sake.
The women, all leaders in the Gospel for Asia (GFA)-sponsored Women’s Fellowship ministry, had been sharing with store owners and shoppers when one man demanded to know what they were doing. The assault began with a powerful slap to the face of one woman and continued to the others, one of whom was isolated and surrounded by five men.
“Jesus promised persecuting and hardships,” says Daniel Punnose, vice president of GFA (gfa.org). “These young ladies see it worth facing the beatings in order to share the love of Christ.”
The women, Bansari, Jaladhi, Kuyil, Sunita and Viveka, were beaten on their faces, ears and heads. All report that no bystanders came to their defense during the ordeal and that they miraculously escaped from their multiple attackers and were delivered from further harm.
GFA-sponsored Women’s Fellowships are intentional ministries across South Asia for women reaching women with the love of Christ in cultures where men are severely limited in ministering to women. Local Women’s Fellowships are often nurtured by one of 2,000 GFA-sponsored women missionaries.
Special prayer is requested for the women attacked and for all the women missionaries and leaders of Women’s Fellowships who work in cultures where women endure cultural oppression and degradation.
“When we see young women publicly beaten for the faith, it tells us what the future holds in regards to persecution,” Punnose says. “Things will get worse, but the Lord is faithful in all things.”

Obama: Race Relations “May Get Worse”

by KEITH KOFFLER on JULY 28, 2013, 11:52 AM
President Obama said that if economic prescriptions of the type he supports to increase economic growth and reduce “income inequality” are not adopted, then race relations in the United State may deteriorate further.
“If we don’t do anything, then growth will be slower than it should be. Unemployment will not go down as fast as it should. Income inequality will continue to rise,” Obama said in an interview published today by the New York Times. “Racial tensions won’t get better; they may get worse, because people will feel as if they’ve got to compete with some other group to get scraps from a shrinking pot. If the economy is growing, everybody feels invested, ” he said.
Obama said Americans in recent decades have lost a sense of security, feeling that a chance at upward mobility is being denied them. He railed against the deficit hawks in the Republican Party, suggesting cuts were being made to quickly and without proper discretion, and that “vital investments” must be preserved.
The president in recent days has suggested he will back massive new spending outlays, including funding for vast programs like infrastructure projects and early childhood education.
Obama vowed to act unilaterally if Congress blocks him.
“I’m not just going to sit back if the only message from some of these folks is no on everything, and sit around and twiddle my thumbs for the next 1,200 days,” he said.

Protestant churches feel the heat in Kazakhstan

Kazakhstan (CAM) ― Is religious freedom a reality in Kazakhstan? The answer depends on who you ask.
While the constitution of this Central Asian country provides for freedom to worship, in truth it is adherents of traditionally recognized faiths and denominations who enjoy that privilege.
Ironically, says Christian Aid Mission, more restrictive laws were enacted to stem the tide of growing Islamic radicalism in Kazakhstan. In the process, intense government scrutiny of all minority religious groups has led to persecution of Christians, particularly evangelicals.
A law passed in 2011 requires churches and religious organizations to apply for state registration. The process is not that simple, however, as official registration is restricted to groups of 50 people or more. Most Christian congregations in Kazakhstan are small and meet in private homes.
To comply with the new regulations, a group of believers can only gather for worship or prayer in a state-approved location, such as a church building. Since the purchase or construction of building costs anywhere from $12,000 to $18,000 on average, congregations find themselves facing a great dilemma.
Even believers who are members of government-sanctioned churches sometimes encounter harassment from local authorities and have to prove their case in court.
The crackdown has resulted in arrests, steep fines, and imprisonment. According to the Forum 18 News Service Web site, fines were imposed on at least 62 Council of Churches Baptists since the start of 2013. The denomination refuses to pay the fines on principle, considering them in violation of human rights.
In response, the government has reportedly imposed a new set of restrictions on the Baptist churches, banning the members from traveling outside of the country until the fines are satisfied.
The following report was taken verbatim from a Christian Aid-assisted ministry in Kazakhstan. It reveals the extreme measures taken by local authorities to try to stamp out unregistered churches.
On March 31 in a town in eastern Kazakhstan, nine Christians (mainly elderly people) gathered to celebrate Easter, to pray, communicate, and have some tea. After a while, seven police officers came into the apartment. They brought two drunken men with them as witnesses.
Without presenting any documents, the police began to take a video and do a search of the apartment. The senior captain offered to take the Christians to the police station for questioning, but the Christians refused, demanding a good reason for why they should. The answer was that they were engaged in unregistered religious activities.
On April 3, this group of Christians was called to the police station. After police kept them in the office from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m., they were given the interrogation report to sign. The report stated they were engaged in illegal religious activities and storage and sale of drugs. Some of the elderly people signed the report without reading it. But after one woman pointed out the information about drugs, all of them refused to sign it. The authorities threatened to place the group in jail overnight. The Christians sent a statement to the regional prosecutor’s office, including a copy of the document that accused them of storage and sale of drugs.
An administrative court proceeding took place April 18, where four of the Kazakhs were each fined $577 to be paid within one month. The next day, a trial was held for three more of the Christians. Two were fined a penalty of $577 each, and the other individual was fined $1154. Two more people are in the hospital at the present time and haven’t been given a summons to the court. The total sum of fines was $4616.
Before the “law of religious activity,” this small group of Christians was without any need of registration. With the introduction of new rules, the legal features were established. They applied for registration a couple of times since September of last year and were rejected because there were less than 50 people.
Despite opposition, the Kazakh churches continue to grow. About 25% of the country’s population is Christian, most of whom are from the accepted Russian Orthodox denomination. Protestants, making up 0.8%, are viewed with suspicion as dangerous sects that may pose a threat to the government.
Christian Aid assists ministries in Kazakhstan that have planted more than 120 churches and comprise some 12,000 believers. Donors have also provided funding for a Bible school that graduates over 100 students each year and an orphanage that provides compassionate care in the name of Christ to some 300 youngsters.

Strong Christian Winds Blowing Through the House of Islam

Ramadan is especially hungry in the Arab world this year.
As Muslims there observe the annual month of fasting, which began July 8, they face violence, chaos and growing uncertainty about the future. Have the hopes invested by so many in the Arab Spring finally died? Many think so.
“Roughly two-and-a-half years after the revolutions in the Arab world, not a single country is yet plainly on course to become a stable, peaceful democracy,” reported The Economist magazine in a recent cover story. “The countries that were more hopeful—Tunisia, Libya and Yemen—have been struggling. A chaotic experiment with democracy in Egypt, the most populous of them, has landed an elected president behind bars. Syria is awash with the blood of civil war.
“No wonder some have come to think the Arab Spring is doomed. The Middle East, they argue, is not ready to change. One reason is that it does not have democratic institutions, so people power will decay into anarchy or provoke the re-imposition of dictatorship. The other is that the region’s one cohesive force is Islam, which—it is argued—cannot accommodate democracy. The Middle East, they conclude, would be better off if the Arab Spring had never happened at all.”
But that view is “at best premature, at worst wrong,” The Economist contends. The millions of people in the region who want something better will not give up so easily. Nor should they. Political change comes slowly, but it comes. More than 20 years after the fall of the Soviet Union, for instance, the peoples once ruled by that dead empire still struggle under varying degrees of oppression. “The Arab Spring was always better described as an awakening: the real revolution is not so much in the street as in the mind.”
The mind and the heart, meanwhile, are the unseen cradles of another, far more profound revolution. It has begun not just in the Middle East, but throughout the Dar al-Islam—the global “House of Islam” that encompasses 1.6 billion Muslims from West Africa to Indonesia.
For the first millennium of its existence, Islam expanded relentlessly, absorbing tens of millions of Christians, “while not a single un-coerced Muslim movement to Christ [took] place,” writes IMB strategist David Garrison, one of evangelical Christianity’s top scholars of church-planting movements around the world. Despite heroic efforts by missionaries and other believers, even “the Great Century” of Christian global advance (the 1800s) produced only one movement to Christ among Muslims that counted at least 1,000 converts.
Garrison’s forthcoming book, A Wind in the House of Islam, excerpted in the latest issue ofMission Frontiers, explores the cracks that have appeared more recently in the façade of seemingly monolithic Islam. Its biggest internal struggle, between Sunnis and Shiites, is obvious—and fuels many of the sectarian conflicts now tearing apart the Middle East. But a quieter shift is occurring behind the scenes, as Garrison confirmed in his travels to every corner of the Muslim world, where he collected interviews from more than 1,000 former Muslims who have decided to follow Christ.
“Today, in more than 60 separate locations in at least 17 of the 49 countries where Islam holds sway, new communities of Muslim-background followers of Christ are emerging,” Garrison writes. “Each of these movements has seen at least 1,000 baptized believers and at least 100 new worshipping fellowships, all of whom have come to Christ over the past two decades. In some countries, the communities have grown to number tens of thousands of new Muslim-background followers of Christ.
“Though the total number of new Christ followers, perhaps as many as 1 million to 5 million, may be a statistically small drop in the vast sea of Islam, they are not insignificant. Not limited to a remote corner of the Muslim world, these new communities of believers are widespread, from West Africa’s Sahel to the teeming islands of Indonesia — and everywhere in between. … And these religious renegades are paying an incalculable price [in persecution and rejection] for their spiritual migration to Christ. Yet they continue to come. What began as a few scattered expressions of dissent is now emerging as substantial, and historically unprecedented, numbers of Muslim men and women wading against the current of their societies to follow Jesus Christ. And it is only beginning.”
Some of these movements to Christ have occurred in places that seem, on first glance, unlikely breeding grounds for the Gospel: Iran, heart of the Shiite revival. Indonesia, the largest Muslim country in the world. Algeria, site of a murderous struggle between Islamists and the military that saw more than 100,000 civilians killed in the 1990s. Central Asia, ruled for generations by Soviet communism and, for centuries before that, by rigid forms of Islam. Bangladesh, born in the blood of a war for independence from Pakistan in 1971, ravaged by poverty and natural disasters.
What are the common elements? Conflict and wrenching change have played a role, to be sure. Political and religious oppression have given rise to a yearning for true freedom. But social and political explanations are inadequate. Could it be that God has chosen, in His time and by His power, to answer the prayers of many centuries, to reveal Himself in Christ to Muslims yearning for a true encounter with Him? Can there be any other explanation for the countless stories, offered by Muslims themselves, of Christ appearing to them in dreams and visions?
“These 21st-century movements are not isolated to one or two corners of the world,” Garrison says. “They are taking place across the Muslim world: in sub-Saharan Africa, in the Persian world, in the Arab world, in Turkestan, in South Asia and in Southeast Asia.
“Something is happening, something historic, something unprecedented. A wind is blowing through the House of Islam.”
If this is true, how tragic it would be for Christians to continue responding to Muslims in fear and hatred—or worse, indifference—at the very moment of the greatest turning of Muslims to Christ in history. If God asks you one day where you were when He began opening the door to nearly a quarter of humanity, what will you say?

Netanyahu said that the plan was to release 104 “Palestinian prisoners”, not before the talks start, but at stages as they progress.
Benjamin Netanyahu put his trust in Obama, and betray Zionism and God of Israel.
Benjamin Netanyahu put his trust in Obama, and is ready to betray Zionism and God of Israel for the sake of “peace”. .
“This is an incredibly difficult decision. It hurts the bereaved families, it hurts all of the Israeli people and it hurts me very much. It clashes with the most important principle, the principle of justice,” Netanyahu stated.
Netanyahu said that “sometimes prime ministers are forced to make decisions that go against public opinion – when the issue is important for the country.”

My comment:
It strikes me that Benjamin Netanyahu will lead Israel down the roads towards the grand compromise. He can claim this to be “painful”, and to the best for the ‘Jews”.  But is will still be wrong, and lethal for the Jewish state.
The reason for the compromise, is that the forces of Jihad has become to strong, have powerful friends in London and Washington, and that this enemy now stands at the gates of Jerusalem.
 Luke 21:20-22
“When you see Jerusalem being surrounded by armies, you will know that its desolation is near.  Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those in the city get out, and let those in the country not enter the city.  For this is the time of punishment in fulfillment of all that has been written.
You can never be betrayed by a stranger. Only fools put their trust is people they do not know. You can only be betrayed by someone you consider to be a  close friend, a person whom you thought was fighting the good battle with you.
To release 104 Arab murderers from Israeli prisons, is not a gesture for “peace”. It gives the Islamic barbarians the upper hand, a prof that terrorism pays off. You just need to have an immoral President in the White House on your side, a man who claim “Islam is the religion of peace”. Than the Jews will become dhimmies, and pay with their own blood for a ticket to sit in the same room as the leader of the PLO.
While people are saying, “Peace and safety,” destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.
Shame, shame, shame.
God of Israel is watching. The final Judgment is just around the corner, brought to Earth by the returning Messiah. The Bible explains that a false Messiah shall come first, and flatter the Jews into a “covenant of peace”, a false deal done. Because the “peace makers’ will just continue their Jihad, and ploy for the finale destruction of the Jewish state.
The true Messiah is Yeshua of Nazareth. We can expect no one else. Amen.

There’s No Way Out Unless You Walk Heaven’s Trail…

As this world in which we live in today is spiraling frantically out of control, what hope is there at all for its doomed inhabitants? The reality is that this world and its inhabitants are at the end of its course. You know there's nothing like the real world to get one down. There's nothing like the world outside that turns one's world upside down. It makes one feel like they're heading down a one-way, dead-end street.

We are indeed headed down a one way dead end street. Not to rain on any body's parade but... we are at the end of the age with Divine judgment just ahead (Matt 13:26-30, Mark 13:28-30). No subjective delusional optimistic appraisal can make these sobering realities disappear. What are we to do?

Adam and Eve in all their wildest dreams could NEVER  have imagined the horrific consequences that would result that day by opening "Pandora's Box" in the Garden of Eden.

All of the world's accumulated technology and knowledge that we have acquired over the last 6000 years has only made us extremely more violent and oppressive. Time and technology have only served to show and reveal the absolute depravity and hopeless state and condition of man (Gen. 6:5, Isa. 53:6, Jer. 17:9, Romans 1:18-32). Adam and Eve in all their wildest dreams could NEVER  have imagined the horrific consequences that would result that day by opening "Pandora's Box" in the Garden of Eden (Gen 3). Their trespass and violation against Almighty God's natural and ETERNAL absolutes had all the horrific effects of a 100 mega ton bomb (Isa. 24:4-6). So savage and violent had the pre- flood world become after Adam’s transgression that Almighty God wiped it out via the Genesis flood except Noah and his family (Gen 6:1-13). Is the hour and day in which we live in any different then Noah's day? So violent and corrupted have we – the inhabitants of planet earth - become that we as a world are now at the very door  of the Day of the Lord as Almighty God has spoken of (Matt 24, Mark 13:28-30, 2 Tim 3:1-7). What makes anyone think that they can escape the coming wrath of Almighty God? We have exponentially transgressed His natural laws, we have exponentially violated His spiritual ETERNAL absolutes, and we have sown our own godless way and have reaped the horrific consequences. It is this horrific reaping that has led us to this very moment in time (Isa. 24: 4-6, Gal 5:19-21, 6:7-8).

Biblical Objectivity

Try to stand back and objectively look at the span of time here on earth; from the Tower of Babel with its global catalyst of godlessness and passion to live anexistence with out Almighty God, to the worldly brilliance and idolatrous society of Egypt. From the autocratic power of the Babylonians, to the strength of the Media Persians Empire. From the conquering speed and philosophy of Greece, to the decadent and oppressive Roman Empire. From the genus and barbarity of theAztec, Mayans and Incas, to the godless vacuum of the European nations and lust for war. All of these civilizations have been one GODLESS, violent, decadent and oppressive cesspool of death and horror to the world's inhabitants (Rom. 1:18-32). Almighty God describes some of these global empires as ferocious wild beasts to help us better understand them from a heavenly perspective (Dan 7, Rev 13:1-2). My friend what is most astounding is that we haven’t evened peaked as a fallen race until we reached the 20th century. There has NEVER been a more violent, murderous, oppressive, narcissistic and decadent century in the history of mankind. All of our world’s exponential technological advances made in this last century has given the world more power at their finder tips to show forth the fallen godless passions and violence of the human heart (Jer. 17:9). Of course we have had some noble occasions and humanitarian exploits through out this time, but these are but a faded blip and pale exponentially in comparison to mankind’s history of violence, lust and decadence (Rom 3:3-23). The out working and horrific consequences from the billions that have inhabited planet earth since Babel have completely ravished and laid waste the lands and the world's inhabitants. The godless Babelology that first raised its head 4200 years ago (Gen 11:1-9), has thoroughly engulfed and saturated the world. This Babelology has made spiritually stinking drunk its billions of inhabitants (from Babel to present- 4200 years) to the crucial realities of time and eternity (Eph. 2:1-3, Rev 17:1-2, 18:24).

All of our world’s technological advances have exponentially given the world more power at their finger tips to show forth the fallen godless passions of our heart.
,
Even America, which was founded during the Philadelphia Church Age(from about 1700 to about 1900 – the church of the “open door” – Rev 3:7-13), was established on the bedrock of natural and moral lawsand foremost acknowledged the Person of Almighty God. America was founded at the end of the world’s time line which spans about 4200 years. Just in these brief 235 years of our nation's history we have reached socially and culturally the point of no return. There has been no other nation in the world's history that has sent out the Biblical Gospel light as America has. America has been a beacon of freedom to the worlds oppressed and has been a global dam holding back the world’s anti-Semitism, oppressive tyrannies and the unbridled passions of fallen despots, especially in this last century. Let me ask you this very sobering question, “What do you think will become of the world once America restraining influence has been removed from the scene?” The very sobering answer is... GREAT tribulation and global anti -Semitism (Zech 14:2, Rev 6-16).

It‘s All Been Tried

Through the 6000 years of recorded world historycountless forms of ruling classes have established governments dominated by their godless unbridled ideologies(Rev. 17:2). All of these nations have used Babel's blueprint in establishing their own delusional culture and systems. Out of all of these earthly (carnal) sensual ideologies (1 Cor. 2:14, 3:19, James 3:15) have sprung forth a vast spectrum of oppressive and damnable religions (spiritual philosophies), totalitarianism, fascism, socialism, oppressive dictatorships and despots, monarchies, democracies, republic’s etc... ALL, of which have met their end because of decadence or violence. The ones that remain today are on the verge of collapse. What hope is there at all for the future of the world's inhabitants when all of the world's kingdoms are nothing but oppressive and violent destroyers? The sane answer is an obvious NONE, absolutely NONE. Without Almighty God’s outside intervention(John 3:16-17, Gal 1:4) mankind will eventually make its self extinct. Mankind has repeatedly beat its drum to many different tunes patterned after the Babel blueprint and all have been disastrous (Rom. 1:18-32, Rev 17:1-2,5, 18:24).
.
There is absolutely NO HOPE or WAY OUT of our temporal earthly confines and our un-regenerated fallen human state and condition(Rom. 5:12-19, 7:24-25, 1 Cor. 15:21-22). There are many voices and trails that lead to ruin, but there is only one trail that will lead us to a place of deliverance and redemption. That heavenly trail leads to Almighty God and His Son Jesus Christ. It is by FAITH alone that we look objectively outside of ourselves and choose to believe Almighty God and His unchangeable Word and promises (Mark 11:22, 2 Cor. 1:20, Titus 1:2, Heb. 11:1, 6). When we do, we will be set free delivered and set free from the oppressive bonds of this world and have access to Heaven's domain (Eph 1:3,Col 3:1-2).

My friend, there is absolutely no way out, no way out of this living hell, no way, no way out unless we walk Heaven’s trail.

Heaven’s Trail Leads To Eternal Life!

Almighty God has provided the solution, remedy and trail for Adam’s fallen race to follow. He promised Adam and Eve at the beginning that “the seed of the women would crush the head of the serpent (Gen 3:15, Rom. 5:12-19, Heb. 2:14-15, Rev 21:1-7)”. This theme of God’s saving grace and redemption is the life giving line that flows through out the entire Bible. God has provided a Savior (John 3:16-17, Acts 4:12, 1 John 4:14, 2 Peter 1:1)! There is a Lamb slain from before the foundation of the world (1 Peter 1:19-20, Rev 13:8)! There is a narrow heavenly trail that leads to ETERNAL LIFE and REDEMPTION with Almighty God (Matt 7:13-14, John 14:6, 1 Cor. 1:30)!

Jesus stated, Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it (Matt.7:13-14).

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me (John 14:6).

I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture (John 10:9).

Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this? (John 11:25-26)

My friend have your eyes been opened to the horrific realities and conditions of the very hour in which we live in and you find yourself with absolutely NO answers or solutions? There is absolutely NO human remedy. There is absolutely NO human solution for the growing exponential global crisis of our day. No delusional optimistic human appraisal can give you the answers or solutions that you are so desperately looking for or need to give your heart the consolation that it is seeking. My friend with America on the verge of social collapse and anarchy before us, what is one to do?

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you (Matt 6:33).

My friend, the world needs to wake up and smell the coffee and let6000 years of human history testify to it of our desperate need for our Creator and Savior (Heb 1:2-3). Time will not go on forever. A Day of reckoning has been foretold by Almighty God in which all will give and account (Rev 20:11-15). Eternity is where each one of us will abide forever. Our future destiny is not to be found in this temporal fallen world.

Do you know Jesus Christ as your personal Savior? It is ONLY through Him alone that we can be delivered from this present evil world (John 3:16-17, 1 Cor. 7:31, Gal 1:4, 1 John 2:17)! Jesus Christ is God's Heavenly trail that will deliver us from this living hell here on planet earth and the Lake of Fire which is to come (Rev. 20:11-15).

The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand!

Intervention for the Damned

This world in which we live is a fallen world (Rom. 5:12-19), ravished by the violations of God’s natural and spiritual laws (Isaiah 24:5). There is absolutely NO hope for mankind when left to this world's designs. Godless man - no matter how noble, no matter how virtuous, no matter how full of good intentions - can never and will never bring about an utopian world peace. This is impossible apart from Almighty God and His Saving Grace. All the good intentions and humanitarian efforts of humanity are vanity (Eccl. 1:4, 4:4). In light of our true and most desperate need, we need Almighty God’s salvation and deliverance from the wrath which is to come (John 3:16-17; Rom. 7:24, 25; 2 Thess. 1:8-10). A broken egg world (Romans 3:23) can never be fixed by broken egg humanity. How can imperfection create perfection? How can chaos and anarchy bring about peace and harmony? These are just basic common sense truths that humanity will NOT address. Humanity has a "terminal fixation" on things belonging to the temporal confines of time (i.e., that which has a beginning and an end). At the same time, it has absolutely NO CONCEPT of the things of ETERNITY and its future destiny therein.

How can imperfection create perfection? How can chaos and anarchy bring about peace and harmony? These are just basic common sense truths that humanity will NOT address.

Just a note of explanation here: OF COURSE we should do all we can to help those who are oppressed and devastated by the ravishing of this fallen world, but that in and by itself will NEVER SAVE anyone in the Day of Judgment (Rev. 20:11-15). or deliver anyone from the reign of Death in this fallen world. Only an “outside intervention” from Almighty God can deliver us from the terror of death and His wrath(John 3:36; Rom. 4:25; 5:6-8)!

Divine Intervention

2000 years ago, God sent His Son to pay the price for our trespasses and to deliver us from this present fallen world(John 3:16-17, Gal. 1:4). God the Father sent His Son not to judge us but to deliver us from our ruin (Romans 7:24-25). Jesus came to earth to SAVE and DELIVER the damned from ruin and ETERNAL judgment. It is when we reject His saving grace that in the end He becomes our Judge(Rev. 20:11-15).

This world is bankrupt and ruined by man’s transgressions (Isa 24:5-6). Once these realities are seen by an honest and humbled heart, that individual will comprehend his desperate need for God’s mercy and saving grace (Romans 7:24-25).

As these days are coming to an end and as the world falls deeper into decadence and ruin, may I ask you this very sobering question? Do you know the Lord Jesus Christ as your PERSONAL Savior? All depends on it. Through Christ, God has redeemed the world to Himself and will restore it for 1000 years in peace and righteousness(Isaiah 11). After Christ's 1000-year reign we (i.e., those who have received Almighty God’s saving grace) will reign with Him FOREVER and EVER in righteousness (Rev. 22:1-5). That is what God's plan is for everyone... for those who will but choose it!

My friend, what hope there is in Almighty God! Place your trust in Him today. You will never be the same!

The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand!

Obama the Unembarrassable`

Sometimes I marvel at President Obama’s apparent lack of an embarrassment sensor. How can he stand before the American people and deliver speech after speech making the same tired points and pretending he is delivering the speech of the century?

Is he truly impervious to feelings of self-consciousness, or is he trying to play us for fools?

His speech at Knox College on the economy contained all the ingredients of a vintage Obama speech: much fanfare about little substance; a stunning distortion of his record across the board, especially on the economy; refusal to accept responsibility and blaming others for the problems he’s caused; his ludicrous portrayal of himself as an outsider pitted against the Washington political class he heads; predictable appeals to class warfare; tried-and-failed prescriptions for “growing the economy from the middle out”; his professed identification with the middle class, which his policies are devastating; his cynical dismissal as phony distractions of a raft of real administration scandals that would have brought other administrations to their knees; and an expression of affinity for government, not the American people, as the solution for all of our problems.
The upshot after Obama’s nearly five years in office is that the economy is still sluggish. Unemployment and annual deficits remain disturbingly high based on historical standards; our national debt and unfunded liabilities represent an existential threat to America; Obamacare hangs like an ominous tornado playground over the economy and every employer and health care consumer in the nation; America is in steady economic and military decline at the hands of a president who is in denial about it, indifferent to it or intentionally pursuing it; and the president and his renegade Justice Department and administrative agencies are riddled with scandals and gleefully flout the Constitution, the rule of law and the legislative branch.
Yet despite all of this, Obama tells us that everything is great and that things would be even better if it weren’t for partisan, obstructionist Republicans. (If the economy is so wonderful, why is Obama hopscotching the country trying to convince us of what should be self-evident?)
Obama’s refusal to accept responsibility for his policies and his scapegoating have reached comical proportions. Indeed, his economic adviser Austan Goolsbee once virtually admitted that Obama should only be associated with his economic record if and when we begin to see sustained positive results.
Such is the mentality of ideologues. No amount of failure is proof of their policies failing. Others must always be blamed.
Obama no longer dazzles us with his smoke and mirrors; he bores us with them, droning on and on for more than an hour without offering any new ideas to turn the economy around — because he has none.
Obama is as bereft of new ideas as a ventriloquist’s dummy. He is a prisoner of his own theological affinity for expansive government as a panacea. His liberal ethical code tells him that growing government is a moral imperative that must supersede everything else, even economic growth and prosperity for the very people to whom liberals claim allegiance.
As long as they are reliably growing government, statists such as Obama will not be held to account by their fellow liberals for their policy failures and for spreading misery, because they are doing god’s work, whatever that might mean to them. If his “stimulus” fails to produce jobs, it doesn’t matter, because a) his intentions were good, b) Republicans didn’t let him spend even more, and c) things would have been worse without it — even though the weight of the evidence and history prove otherwise.
So don’t ever expect Obama’s soul mates in the liberal media to hold him accountable for his record or to compare it with that of other presidents. If it is worse, it will not be his fault. His failures will always be because of the “mess he inherited,” even though no other president has ever enjoyed that absurd luxury.
But even measured against the situation he inherited, Obama has made sparse improvements, and in most cases, things have gotten worse, including the millions who have given up and left the workforce, the millions who have joined the government dependency rolls, the catastrophic national debt and our woefully insolvent entitlement programs, which he steadfastly refuses to reform.
For all his hoopla about hope and change, Obama is nothing more than a gloom-and-doom liberal who doesn’t even aspire to robust economic growth. His sole focus is not on growing the economic pie but on redistributing what he believes is a finite one.
That’s why the thrust of Obama’s disgraceful speech was on class envy, resentment and warfare. He forever castigates producers and the wealthy and promises a continuation of policies that are antithetical to growth, except for the growth of government.
As long as Obama is in office and his policies are pursued, America will be shortchanging itself and suppressing the entrepreneurial spirit and liberty of the American people, without which America is destined for ongoing decline.
