It must be nice to have friends in high places! Ask Cook County, Illinois Board President Toni Preckwinkle who just reaped a huge back room payoff from Da Prez in Washington.
In the best Chicago-style politics, the White House quietly awarded Cook County a $100,000 per year pay off via new Medicaid “waivers.”
For those unaware, Cook County is the home of Chicago, the most corrupt city, in the most corrupt county, in the most corrupt state in the union. It is also the home of President Barack “Scarface” Obama.
Over the past weekend the Obama administration approved a request by Cook County to give the country $100 million a year to care for indigents that come to its hospitals for care.
That’s $100 million in federal tax dollars going right into the county’s pockets.
Of course, it’s supposed to go for healthcare, but what are the chances that the most corrupt county in the nation will actually spend it on such pedestrian things as healthcare?
This is an early gift from the federal government letting Cook county into its Obamacare payoff that wouldn’t have come until 2014. Of course, this is all assuming that the next president and/or Congress don’t eliminate Obamacare or materially alter it so that such a windfall isn’t due the county.
Ah, but this is Obama’s home county, right? We gots ta bring home da bacon for the home folks, right? And, what a shock, just before an election, too!

What's Gotten into Russia Lately? Russia's Future in Bible Prophecy

I have always wanted to visit Russia (during the summer of course). A country rich in culture and history, and enormous to boot. One could spend his whole life in Russia and never see all there is to see.

Despite the struggle of the Cold War, one can't help but admire Russia's recent history. After the collapse of communism, Russia looked to become a failed state, slipping into the recesses of history as a third world country.

Yet Mother Russia found a way. Utilizing their massive energy depot in Siberia, the Russians embraced capitalism to become one of the world's leading producers of natural gas and oil. Despite his ultra-ego and insistence to be on camera shirtless, Prime Minister Vladimir Putin has much to brag about.

Putin is a man on a mission. The mission is nothing less than the restoration of the Russian Empire. Armed with nuclear weapons, a top-notch spy agency, and a Napoleonic complex, Putin will stop at nothing to restore his country to former glory.

That's where Russia and the United States have issues. The last thing the United States wants or needs is a revived Russia seeking to undermine American interests in Asia and Europe.

When President Obama took office, one of the first foreign policy items on his agenda was a “reset” with Russia. Noticing that Russia was turning away from the Western world and reverting back to its secretive ways, Obama sought to disarm them with niceness. Surprisingly, it didn’t work.

Instead, he got a reset of the Cold War. In addition to becoming increasingly anti-Western, Russia has become anti-Israel as well. During the Arab-Israeli Wars, it was the Soviet Union’s weapons support for the Arabs that marked Russia as anti-Semitic. Today, it is Russia’s zealous assistance to Iran’s nuclear program that has shown Russia’s true colors. Despite Iran's nuclear rhetoric, Russia has repeatedly warned the West and Israel not to attack Iran.

WIthout Russia, Iranian president Ahmadenijad would simply be another holocaust-denying loon. His weekly nuclear tirades might garner a passing glance, but nothing more. Much like the man on the corner spouting the destruction of the world by his alien friends, his rantings are met with indifference. "So what if the crazy guy wants to talk about aliens?"

Unfortunately, Russia's arming of Iran's nuclear program is akin to an anarchist giving the crazy-guy-on-the-corner an automatic sub-machine gun. To ignore his rantings would be folly. To leave him on the corner to pursue his own desires would be calamitous. Russia has given the toothless tiger of Iran teeth again.

According to a recent article from Reuters, despite years of economic sanctions, the 1,000 megawattBushehr nuclear plant in Iran is finally up and running.

For some odd reason, Israeli leaders simply don’t believe Iran’s nuclear program will be used for peaceful means. Iranian President Ahmadenijad’s weekly calls for the “Zionist” regime’s destruction doesn’t seem to alleviate Israeli fears.

Additionally, Iran’s proxy military, Hezbollah, has armed itself with thousands of missiles in Lebanon, ready to unleash hell in Israel. Hezbollah has participated in countless acts of terrorism against the Jewish people – a fact Russia has chosen to ignore.

Russia also supports the embattled Assad regime in Syria. Syrian President Bashir al Assad is no friend to Israel. In the recent uprisings, Russia has repeatedly voiced support for the Syrian dictator, and even continues to supply weapons to the Syrian government.

Why does Russia seem to be helping Israel’s enemies? Scripture may have the answers. Russia’s future is highlighted in chapters 38 and 39 in the book of Ezekiel.

“Son of man, set your face against Gog, of the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshek and Tubal; prophesy against him and say: ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: I am against you, Gog, chief prince of Meshek and Tubal (Ezekiel 38:2-3).

A majority of Bible scholars have concluded the descendants of these ancient people groups represent Russia. A simple study of the peoples mentioned is plenty evidence enough. If one believes in a literal fulfillment of scripture (all previously fulfilled prophecies have come about literally), then one must conclude that Russia will one day invade Israel.

The land of Magog was home to the Magogites of Ezekiel’s day. According to ancient Greek historian Herodotus and Jewish historian Josephus, the Magogites’ descendants can be traced to the Scythians of Roman times. They were a constant problem for the Romans and hailed from the region of southern Russia and the Ukraine.1

It is no secret that the Russians claim ancestry to the ancient Scythians. What's not to love about the Scythians? From acquiring enemy skulls as war trophies to weekly slave raids into enemy villages, the Scythians were the darlings of the ancient world.

The descendants of Meshek and Tubal can also be traced to the modern day Russians. According to ancient Assyrian texts, these contemporaries of Ezekiel lived in northern Turkey in the 6th century BC, but eventually migrated to southern Russia.2

Ezekiel also references Gog coming from “the far north” in verse 38:15. Unless Estonia is planning an end-times Middle Eastern invasion, Ezekiel was referring to the other nation that reaches the farthest north of Israel’s location – Russia.

When will Russia fulfill its destiny? Several clues lead the reader to the timing of this end-times invasion. The first clue is found in Ezekiel 38:8b.

In future years you will invade a land that has recovered from war, whose people were gathered from many nations to the mountains of Israel, which had long been desolate. They had been brought out from the nations, and now all of them live in safety (Ezekiel 38:8b).

This event has not yet occurred in history. The term “future years” alludes to the end-times. It is used elsewhere in Scripture to describe end-time events.

A second clue regards the re-gathering of Jews after war. After WWII, thousands of war-weary Jews made their way to Israel. For the first time in nearly 2,000 years, Israel returned as a nation.

A third clue lies in Israel’s safety. Despite the raging of Ahmadenijad, Israel lives in a degree of safety today. Although Israel’s neighbors want her dead, the Jewish people live with a degree of self-confidence. Having won all of the Arab-Israeli Wars, the Israeli Defense Force has proven more than capable of withstanding significant attacks.

Furthermore, Israel’s neighbors are in no position to destroy Israel today. Syria and Egypt are politically chaotic, while Jordan and Lebanon are weak militarily. For the first time in its modern history, Israel has found a strategic advantage amongst her neighbors.

Many read the invasion passage in Ezekiel 38 and 39 and mistakenly concluded (as I did once) that this must be a Tribulation event. Fire from heaven, earthquakes galore, and smiting from heaven as Ezekiel foretells haven’t been seen since Old Testament times. Some have mistaken this battle for the Gog/Magog battle referenced in Revelation 20. This is a distinct battle, separate from Revelation chapter 20’s account.

In Revelation 20, it is Satan who draws the godless from the far reaches of the earth (Gog and Magog) to destroy Jerusalem (Rev. 20:8). In Ezekiel 38, Gog is a man who is drawn down to Israel by God for the purposes of plunder (Ez. 38:4).

The Revelation 20 battle occurs at the end of the Millennium (Rev. 20:7), while Ezekiel 38 must take place at a time when Israel has recently “recovered from war.” Since there is no war in the Millennium, the battle of Ezekiel 38 cannot be the same battle of Revelation 20.

The reference to “Gog and Magog” in Revelation 20 must be a general term for “godless hordes.” The future invasion in Ezekiel 38 will be such an event that it will go down in history as a godless assault on God’s people.

In Ezekiel 39, the invaders are destroyed by fire, earthquake, and infighting, while in Revelation 20 God destroys the godless horde with fire from heaven. No infighting, no earthquakes, just pure smiting.

Despite the similarity in the names, the Bible relays ample evidence that Ezekiel is referring to a distinct end-times battle separate from the one in Revelation 20.

A third indication to the timing of this invasion lies in Ezekiel 39:9-10.

“‘Then those who live in the towns of Israel will go out and use the weapons for fuel and burn them up—the small and large shields, the bows and arrows, the war clubs and spears. For seven years they will use them for fuel. They will not need to gather wood from the fields or cut it from the forests, because they will use the weapons for fuel. And they will plunder those who plundered them and loot those who looted them, declares the Sovereign Lord” (Ezekiel 39:9-10).

With all this burning and plundering going on, this battle must take place before the Tribulation. Ezekiel explains that Israel will use the invading armies’ leftover weapons as fuel for a period of seven years. During the Tribulation, Israel will have no time to plunder enemies or burn fuel. Halfway through the Tribulation, the antichrist will turn on Israel and chase the Jews all over the Middle East.

Therefore we can conclude that this future invasion will take place before the Tribulation begins (possibly 7 years). This allows Israel seven years to use the leftover fuel and “plunder” their enemies.

Despite the debate over the timing, one thing is for certain – Russia will invade the tiny nation one day. Their close alliance with Iran, combined with their lust for expansion means Russia could be on Israel's doorstep soon. Look to see an aggressive Russia eyeing the Middle East – particularly Israel.

President Barack Obama met with Defense Secretary Leon Panetta and Vice President Joe Biden at the White House on Sept. 11, 2012 at 5:00 PM—just 55 minutes after a State Department email notified the White House and the Pentagon that the U.S. diplomatic mission in Benghazi was under attack.
The meeting between Obama, Panetta and Biden had been scheduled before the attack took place, and the Department of Defense is not commenting now on whether the three men were aware when they met that day of the ongoing Benghazi attack or whether Obama used that meeting to discuss with his defense secretary what should be done to defend the U.S. personnel in Benghazi.
“Secretary Panetta met with President Obama, as the White House-provided scheduled indicates,” Lt. Col. Todd Breasseale, a Defense Department spokesman, told CNSNews.com on Tuesday. “However, neither the content nor the subject of discussions between the President and his advisors are appropriate for disclosure.”

Love to be a fly on the wall in that meeting.
I picture Obama talking about golf, Panetta talking about whatever, and Biden whining about having to eat his fries before he gets his toy.

It turns out that soon after taking office, President Obama tried to make friends—totally—with the mullahs’ regime in Iran.
The aim was to start with the opening of interest sections in Washington and Tehran, then progress to “full diplomatic ties, including U.S. and Iranian embassies and ambassadors in each other’s capitals, security cooperation…, [and] direct flights between the U.S. and Iran….” All this amity, it was presumed, would get Iran to give up its nuclear program.
So, at least, reports the Israeli daily Maariv (Hebrew original here; English report in The Times of Israel here), basing itself on “two Western diplomats very close to the administration.”
Maariv says that, beginning in summer 2009, there were at least two U.S.-Iranian diplomatic meetings in this context. The second was between Deputy Secretary of State William Burns and chief Iranian nuclear negotiator Saeed Jalili in Geneva in October 2009, on the sidelines of nuclear talks between Tehran and the P5+1 countries.
But Tehran, as they say, wasn’t into it. An Israeli source told Maariv that the regime “opposed any sign of normalization with the U.S., and refused to grant a ‘prize’ to the Americans.”
On Obama’s part, all this would have been in the spirit of his holiday video greeting to Iran in March 2009—and, more generally, his wooing of the Islamic world and apologizing for America’s supposed sins, most notably in his June 2009 Cairo speech.
In the mullahs’ case, Obama’s belief that he could talk them into friendship is particularly striking. U.S.-Iranian relations took something of a hit when the newly installed Ayatollah Khomeini regime seized 52 American diplomats as hostages at the U.S. embassy in Tehran in 1979, holding them for 444 days. Last week the Wall Street Journal’s Bret Stephens listed some additional “American victims of Iranian aggression” since that time:

The 17 Americans killed in April 1983 at the U.S. Embassy in Beirut by the Iranian-backed Islamic Jihad Organization, later known as Hezbollah. The 241 U.S. servicemen killed by Islamic Jihad at the Marine barracks in Beirut on Oct. 23, 1983. Master Chief Robert Dean Stethem, beaten to death in June 1985 by a Hezbollah terrorist in Beirut aboard TWA flight 847. William Francis Buckley, the CIA station chief in Beirut, tortured to death by Hezbollah that same month. Marine Col. William Higgins, taken hostage in 1988 while serving with U.N. peacekeepers in Lebanon and hanged by Hezbollah sometime later. The 19 U.S. Air Force personnel killed in June 1996 in the Khobar Towers bombing, for which several members of Saudi Hezbollah were indicted in U.S. federal court.
And then there are the thousands of U.S. troops killed by improvised explosive devices in Iraq and Afghanistan. The most lethal IEDs were manufactured in Iran for the purpose of killing Americans.

Obama’s belief that America was at fault in having wronged and angered Iran must have been very strong to regard this record as something that could have been overcome between friends—to the extent that he was familiar with it.
The trouble is that, three years later, there are signs that Obama is still unable to grasp the fact that the Iranian regime is implacably hostile to America. It was last March, just as Israeli prime minister Binyamin Netanyahu was in Washington warning that Iran was closing in on the bomb, that Obama chose to renew diplomatic talks with Iran—talks that, as acknowledged by all, have been an empty sham that has merely bought Tehran time just as Israel had warned.
True, meanwhile Obama—under heavy pressure from Congress—has finally, along with other Western countries, imposed sanctions on Iran that are taking a real toll. Just two weeks ago, though, a report by the Congressional Research Service acknowledged a “consensus” that these have in no way slowed Iran’s march toward nukes.
And it was just last week that the New York Times reported that the U.S. and Iran had agreed to still more nuclear talks after November 6. The White House denied the specifics of the report—but, incorrigibly convinced of Tehran’s potential amicability, said it remained ready, as ever, to meet with the mullahs and hash out the differences.
In other words, there are worrisome indications that, when it comes to Iran’s Islamist regime, the U.S. chief executive remains dangerously delusive.

Ten years ago most left-thinking liberals were constantly worried about the erosion of civil liberties under the War on Terror, though they could rarely name an instance where an American citizen had actually experienced such an erosion.
This was, after all, before the days when naked scanners and drone strikes had entered the vocabulary, and the best they could do was to haul out Jose Padilla, aka Abdullah al-Muhajir, ACLU’s choirboy of the month, a Brooklyn-born convert to Islam who was being held in jail for no reason at all except aiding terrorists and plotting to build a dirty bomb.
Ten years later the lefty civil liberties types were proven right. The War on Terror did erode our civil liberties, and America’s first political prisoner in generations has spent a month in jail for making an inconvenient movie at an inconvenient time.
When Charles Woods, the father of Tyrone Woods, one of the Navy SEALS who died fighting in Benghazi, met with Hillary Clinton, the Secretary of State assured him that “We’re going to have that person arrested and prosecuted that did the video.” And they got him, officially on charges of violating parole, unofficially on charges of violently offending violent Muslims.
The woman whose policy had overthrown the Libyan government and then placed a barely defended consulate in the middle of a city of jihadists did not promise the grieving father that his son’s killers would pay. She promised him that the man who offended his son’s killers would pay. Not only would his son be the first casualty of that appeasement policy, but the Constitution that his son had sworn to support and defend would be the second casualty.
Mark Basseley Youssef is not the first filmmaker to have been sent to prison by a Democrat in the White House for making the wrong kind of movie and interfering with his foreign policy. That would be Robert Goldstein who made the The Spirit of ’76, a movie about the American Revolution, at a time when Woodrow Wilson was trying to get Americans deeper into World War I.
Wilson’s Justice Department directed Chicago Police Deputy Superintendent Metellus Lucullus Cicero Funkhouser to confiscate The Spirit of ’76, and Goldstein spent three years in prison and eventually died in a Nazi concentration camp. Both Youssef and Goldstein made two bad movies that were politically inconvenient. The Spirit of ’76 was not welcome in 1917 and the origin of Muslim violence is not an appropriate topic for 2012.
Goldstein’s federal trial took place in the Southern District of California. Mark Basseley Youssef’s trial will take place in the Central District of California. The strange confluence of using Chicago politics and California federal courtrooms to cover up the nakedness of a progressive president’s policies has a certain resonance less than one hundred years later. Youssef and his video trailer made a convenient scapegoat so that progressive politicians could avoid talking about the collapse of Libya into roving bands of Islamist militias and the triumph of Al Qaeda in North Africa.
After Obama had denounced Youssef in every forum from 60 Minutes to the United Nations to Pakistani TV, he was arrested, not to protect the Innocence of Muslims, but to protect the Innocence of Obama.
Blaming the Innocence of Muslims briefly silenced the more dangerous questions about what had gone wrong in Benghazi and the even more dangerous questions about what had gone wrong with the Arab Spring. Youssef, like Goldstein, was a foreigner, and an excellent choice as a scapegoat. And for weeks people focused on Youssef and his many aliases, and not on the question of why Americans died in Benghazi.
Americans died in Benghazi for the same reason that American hostages had been taken in Iran and for the same reason that Leon Klinghoffer had been murdered on the Achille Lauro and US Marines had died in Beirut. They died because their government had appeased Muslims, had given their terrorist groups hope that they could achieve their aims if they killed enough people, had saved them at the moment of their greatest weakness and had elevated them to power.
The innocence of Obama is intertwined with the innocence of Muslims. If Muslims are innocent of terror, then so is the foreign policy that has empowered them. But if Muslims are guilty of terror then the politicians who have pandered to them are guilty of enabling it at the least. If Muslims are innocent of terror, then Obama is innocent of complicity in their terror. But if Muslim terror is a true thing, then the man who helped them unleash it by toppling stable governments and replacing them with Islamist movements and militias shares in their guilt.
The War on Terror has not impeded the civil liberties of those who oppose the war, but of those who oppose the terror.
Under the new civil liberties, the right of a Muslim to praise terrorists, upload videos promoting terrorism and even fund terrorist charities would be sacrosanct under the Bill of Rights. But make a movie mocking Mohammed and suddenly the Bill of Rights won’t be returning your phone calls as you are being frog-marched to your new cell.
In civil liberties circles it is claimed that the war against terrorism has deprived Muslims of their civil rights, but in reality Muslims have gained rights, while we have lost them. The balance between the civil rights of Americans and the need to avoid offending Muslims has been shifting their way, and we all pay the price when we fly and soon enough we will begin paying it when we talk.
America’s first political prisoner in generations is under arrest for offending Muslims and as a cover for Obama’s failed policy of appeasing Muslims. If history is any guide, then he will not be the last. The more bombs go off, the more buildings burn and the more questions are asked, the more Youssefs will be needed to deflect those questions and protect the innocence of Muslims and of their political panderers.
The War on Terror is a war waged to convince Americans that there is no such thing as Muslim terrorism and to convince Muslims that they should stop being terrorists.
The more people die of Muslim violence, the more the innocence of Muslims must be upheld, because it is no longer just the innocence of Muslims that is at stake, but the innocence of the political establishment that has looked away from Muslim terrorism. And a political establishment determined to protect its innocence will go to any length to cover up its crimes
After the Arab Spring and the Libyan War, it has become impossible to untangle the guilt of Obama from the guilt of Islamists. That is the dirty secret that the establishment is determined to protect. The cover-up of Islam’s conduct has become their cover-up of their own conduct as well. So long as Islam can claim innocence, they can claim innocence as well, and those who challenge the innocence of Muslims and by extension the innocence of the political establishment will become the first political prisoners.

In an election climate that reeks of economic chaos, we may be overlooking a greater threat to our future. Economically, President Obama, all by himself, is a target-rich environment. Voters just need to ask a few simple questions. Would I want this man to invest my family funds or run my family business – for another four years? Or would I trust my family’s money to Mitt Romney? That should do it – but economics pales in the face of Obama’s emasculation, socialization and feminization of our military, which, although related, I believe is a greater threat to our future than economic miseries.
For veterans and those interested in the security of America, the question is: Would I want this man with me in combat? Could he be trusted to lead a military squad let alone be commander in chief? Can you picture Obama in a duck blind – or even holding a gun? Has he ever held a gun? (Be assured he will assault the Second Amendment if he gets a second term.) Can you see him as a fighter pilot a la the Bushes? Or commanding a PT boat as did John Kennedy? This is not a man I would want with me in combat and neither should America.
For me and many veterans, President Obama’s military priority was initially evident at his Inauguration. One of the inaugural balls honors veterans, including Medal of Honor recipients. For the first time in memory a president, Obama, snubbed that ball. His ignorance and disdain for the military continued when he put victory in the hands of the enemy in Afghanistan by announcing the date we would quit. Weak leaders often try to project an image of toughness by “kicking ass.” Accordingly, he fired a senior commander for a revealing story in that paragon of journalistic integrity – Rolling Stone.
In the meantime, his secretary of defense, Robert Gates, a fellow faculty-lounge lizard and weak ass kicker, fired the surgeon general along with his deputy and the secretary of the Army for a story in the Washington Post on mice and mold at Walter Reed. Gates would then fire another service secretary and the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff who disagreed with homosexual conduct in military barracks – illegal at the time. Gates’ chairman of the Joint Chiefs, Michael Mullen, would actually boast of covering for homosexuals in the Navy – illegal at the time.
It is easy to see why the leadership of our military is so intimidated and quickly cowered to Obama’s demand for a quad-sexual (LGBT) military. Like lemmings they worried that the terrorist massacre at Fort Hood would hurt diversity and even formed an office to promote diversity in the military – which is already as diverse as any organization in America. (It is reported that those people wounded at Fort Hood and the families of the dead are being denied military benefits in an effort to deny it was a terrorist attack but rather work place violence!) Military leaders actually denounce retired military voices who criticize their boss – except Colin Powell, who supports their boss. They are now busy bowing to Obama on women in combat – they want to teach our sisters, daughters and mothers to kill. I wonder if Obama or Gates would want their daughters in a unit half full of women fighting an enemy unit all full of men?
Under the leadership of the Obama/Gates/Mullen trinity, our military has suffered as never before. Gates supervised the waste and fiscal incompetence at the Pentagon (millions of dollars lost). He instituted an insane op tempo (60 out of 80 months deployed is not unusual), causing unprecedented suicide and PTSD rates among soldiers and depression and anxiety in their families. Military pay cuts are coming, and the administration actually lost graves and urns at Arlington. There is an effort to raise health insurance premiums for retirees. The number of stolen top-secret documents is unmatched in our history. On the silly side, Gates’ Pentagon actually considered giving medals to soldiers for not shooting!
On the battlefield, they have stripped the premier combat life saver, Aeromedical Evacuation, from the medics. This is the first time a medical resource has been so usurped since the Civil War, and I have heard horror stories from the battlefield on delayed reaction times. (I actually had a soldier from Iraq turn his back on me when I told him I was a Dust Off pilot in Vietnam; he said forces had failed to react in time to save his friend’s life.) It may be a surprise to Vietnam veterans that the Congress authorized a program to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Vietnam War and honor its veterans; but it will be no surprise that Gates drastically cut its funds. We will soon be longing for the “hollow military” of the ’70s.
Just as frightening is the lack of military experience or expertise in Congress. When you mix all this with a population that consists of a significant number of liberals and a media that dislike the military and have never served (nor would they), along with the specter of sequestration budget cuts, the jeopardy of our military is evident.
The recent terrorist attack on American soil in Libya and the murder of four Americans, including our ambassador, should be a forewarning of things to come. It is a culmination of the cataclysmic calamity that is the daily currency of a White House governed only by politics. American corpses were barely cold, and the president was off to Las Vegas for a fundraiser. The fundraiser was followed by endless misinformation, distortions and outright lies equaling one of the most scandalous cover-ups in our history. (Obama also went on vacation after committing our military to help liberate Libya. Compare that to President George W. Bush who quit playing golf after we went to war in Iraq.) Watergate pales in comparison with the Benghazi massacre – and a majority of the media are complicit in the cover-up.
Obama’s replacement for Gates, Leon Panetta, had an astonishing response in answer to a query concerning why we ignored the plea for help from the Americans about to be slaughtered in Benghazi: “You don’t deploy forces into harm’s way without knowing what is going on.” Excuse me. Did we not know that Americans were under attack and pleading for help? What else do you need to know? By his standard you would never go. In combat and chaos you are never sure of what is going on. Is it the standard of this administration that American should never risk lives to save lives? Risking lives to save lives is the essence of our wars! Our firefighters and police do it every day. In Vietnam, my only experience in combat, Dust Off pilots went every day into harm’s way without knowing exactly what was going on – only that some one was hurt and needed help. That should be enough – and refusing to at least give it a shot is scandalous.
America is impotent without a strong military – and so is American policy. Our military strength is the one sure force for peace in the world. It deters the bad guys – not only from attacking us but others as well. Weakness emboldens evil, and ultimately we will be drawn into some disaster whether we like it or not. All the sheep and chickens in the world – and many liberals – would like for everyone to be vegetarians – won’t happen, there are too many wolves out there. Yet how could any objective, informed person not see the deliberate dismantling of our military? Obama personally authored sequestration, which will bench us from the field of world affairs. But why?
I believe that Obama has no knowledge of or interest in military matters. Nor does he have the capacity to deal with crisis – the reason for a military – and he knows it. A feeble military would give him cover. A lack of resources is the perfect excuse for doing nothing, an Obama hallmark. And there are no votes in military spending – this man lives for votes. In a world aflame with uncertainty and violence, watch the president’s campaign media. You will never hear a word about increasing or preserving our military strength, only that the troops are coming home. Ignorance of military matters is one thing and can be overcome, but ignorance of the importance of military might in promoting peace worldwide and protecting America is deadly.

President Obama's reelection campaign, openly concerned that his supporters will be turned away from the polls, is offering legal help to voters who see problems.
The president today said in an interview that the campaign has enlisted an army of lawyers to clear hurdles away for his supporters, telling American Urban Radio Networks, "If people have problems voting, we can solve those problems. We've got lawyers all across the country."
Urging supporters to vote early, as the president himself did in Chicago last week, he told black radio host April Ryan that voters should contact his campaign if they are prevented from voting. "If you try to vote early and you see that problem, we've got time to fix it," said the president.
Democrats have been worried that new election laws requiring voters to show identification are meant to block minorities and the poor at the polls. In Chicago, the president provided hislicense as identification before voting.
What's more, he said that by voting early, the campaign can shift its attention to those who wait until Election Day and help them get to the polls.
Ryan, a long-time White House correspondent known for her news-making interviews, also pressed the president on the high joblessness among blacks and Hispanics. The president responded by saying he would focus on "communities of color" in his second term because those two groups are the "future workforce" of America.
But as he has throughout his four years in office, the president said that would be part of a larger effort to put all Americans back to work. He told Ryan: "My target is anybody who is out there, wants to work but doesn't have the skill set to do it. When you look, a lot of those communities are communities of color and we're going to be putting in resources to make sure that we are training those folks up. And, by the way, that's good for America generally. If we don't have black and Hispanic kids who can compete, you know that's the fastest growing population, and that's our future workforce and America will decline economically unless everybody is able to get the opportunities that they deserve."

The Lawless One Who is to Come

As we look out across the social landscape of the “Land of the Free” today we see lawlessness abounding everywhere. The term “personal rights” has been received and accepted today as one’s personal license to transgress at will Almighty God’s laws of nature and moral absolutes. The horrific social consequences produced by this narcissistic and subjective delusion of “do as thou wilt” has ravished this country. These lawless social changes in our American culture are presently - at exponential speeds - sending our once great nation screaming off the cliff to anarchy and a violent oblivion. No nation has EVER survived from their godless inhabitant’s immoral designs and unleashed unbridled passions. How much more can we here in the U.S of A. survive our rapid moral decline. Our social order and culture here in America has reached its critical level. How can a nation continue to exist when immoral lawlessness abounds every where in the land of constitutional law? My friends, we are doomed!

Over the last 80 years, the socialistic secularist (i.e., the Left) in America have been fighting tooth and nail to over turn, not just our Judeo/Christian heritage, but to demolish our republic form of democracy and the rule of Constitutional law. What makes our country’s founding so dramatically different from every other nation in the history of mankind – except for Israel – was our founding father’s vision and genius to establish this country, not on the anarchical “relative and pluralistic delusions of godless man”, but on the firm foundation of absolute truth and laws established at the beginning of time by mankind’s ETERNAL and omnipotent Creator (The Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God - Gen 1:31, Psalm 148, Rom. 1:20, Rev. 4:11). It was the adhering by our founding fathers to the unchangeable and unmovable moral principles and absolutes of time that this nation was founded. This God fearing group of “fallen humans (Rom. 5:12-21)”, who possessed a healthy fear and reverence to Almighty God and also a healthily respect and adherence to moral absolutes were the genesis’ behind the establishment of this once great nation. It is stated quite clearly in our Declaration of Independence who and what they were placing their full reliance in.

Today we can - see right before our very eyes - the poisonous and lawless fruit abounding through out our entire nation. The consistent efforts made through out the last 100 years by the secular lawless progressive left have prevailed and we are now witnessing its destructive effects on our nation.

In the last 5 years – since the 2006 elections - we have seen “as a mushroom cloud on the horizon” the total manifestation of the lawless intentions and designs by the secularist progressives out right manifest themselves. America’s dramatic and exponential abandonment of constitutional law and moral absolutes is now today’s new “law” of the land. Lawlessness has now replaced constitutional law and the rule of the elite has now replaced the rule of the people. Lawlessness has now become the law of the land. There is no greater place that we can see this “lawless” spirit at work than in our current President and his lawless “democratic” party.

Obama the Lawless

Just in the last two years we have seen the Obama “regime” rejected and lawlessly over ride constitutional and moral laws on the verdicts on drilling for oil, the protection of marriage, gays in the military, immigration, state law, the banking industry, the 2nd amendment, separation of powers issues etc. President Obama sees himself “above” the law and outside of its healthy restrictions. This addiction for power and control from this “pee-wee potentate” is plain to see for all. In the name of his subtle and deceiving concerns and personal causes, he is rapidly transforming our republic democracy into a tyrannical lawless state. Just as our founding fathers sternly warned us of what would be - when morality and sound biblical absolutes and principles were out right rejected by our leaders and the people - so has it become here in America today.

As Chancellor Palpatine (from the fictional Star Wars Saga) slowly and aggressively manipulated the masses, created straw men, manufactured crisis upon crisis, demonized the good with the end to destroy all opposition to his lawless designs and eventually seized absolute power and instituted himself as savior and emperor; so also can we see these traits in America’s “street organizer” in chief.

It is this writer’s sound opinion that Obama and his leftist cohorts will succeed in their efforts. These "tools" of the Devil (John 8:44) will succeed in putting the final nails into the coffin of this once great Judeo/Christian society and nation which was established and founded on the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God. America is already far past the point of no return; fiscally, socially, morally and spiritually and no Tea Party will save her from sinking to the bottom of the sea.

Once America is removed and rendered useless on the world scene, what can ever contain and stop mankind’s ever growing spirit of lawlessness from permeating through out the entire world and enslaving the inhabitants of planet earth to the despotic fascist reign of godless and lawless men? All Roads Today Lead to “The” Lawless One

Lucifer is “at present” setting the final global stage for the world’s reception and worship of “the” Lawless One (Eph. 6:12). This man will be the lawless pinnacle of human depravity and will be exalted far above all the lawless ones that have ever existed before him - in the history of man - by Satan (2 Thess. 2:3-12, Rev. 13). Only one event, the Rapture of the Church of Christ prevents his unmasking and manifestation to a godless Christ rejecting world (2 Thess. 2:5-8, Rev. 6:1-2).

This masterpiece of Satan will absolutely despise ALL that is Almighty God; His ETERNAL Person, His ETERNAL sovereignty, His established ETERNAL RIGHTEOUSNESS, His OMNIPOTENT creative design, and His ordained and established laws and absolutes for time and ETERNITY(Dan. 7:25, Rev. 13: 5-6). Most of all, it will be this man’s burning passion to tyrannically oppose - lock stock and barrel during this seven year period - Almighty God’s Divine and angelic revelation, His signs and wonders, His godly messengers of the glorious gospel of Jesus Messiah and chiefly - Almighty God’s Christ “the Lamb of Almighty God” (Dan. 7: 25, 9:27, 11:36-39, Rev.17:12-14; Rev. 6-19).

This seven year period will be the junction station of the last 4300 years of the godless and lawless rebellion of Noah’s descendants (Gen. 9:1-19, 10, 11). The horrific devastation and global tribulation at this time will bring to the forefront man’s godless rebellion and rejection of Almighty God’s saving grace (2 Thess. 2:10-12). There is nothing like intense tribulation, oppression, and anarchy to bring out that which is in the heart of fallen man (Gen. 6:3, 5, Jer.17:9, Matt. 15:17-20, Gal. 5:19-21). These conditions will either open the eyes of sinful man to the realities and saving grace and love of Almighty God (Rom. 7:24-25, Eph. 2:1-10), or it will harden the lawless heart of fallen man solid as a diamond (2 Thess. 2:10-12, Heb. 3:15, Rev. 9:20-21, 14:9-11, 16:9). It will be at this time that one’s personal choice will be made abundantly clear. There will be absolutely no confusion or misunderstanding about the choice that one will make at this time. One will either choose to follow Almighty God and His RIGHTEOUSNESS (Rom. 5:1, 10:2-4) or one will follow the godless insanity of the fallen angel Lucifer and his delusional make believe that will lead all that follow him to ETERNAL damnation and desolation (Matt. 24:15, 25:41, 2 Thess. 2:10-12, Rev. 14:9-11, 20:10-15).

All that side with Lucifer (i.e., Satan) and his Anti Christ’s lawless rebellion at this time will indeed be doing so against the ETERNAL ESTABLISHED RIGHTEOUSNESS of Almighty God (2 Thess. 2:3-12, Rev. 14:9-11). These “hater’s of reality” will FOREVER share and align themselves with Lucifer’s godless lawless rebellion. These lovers of lawlessness will seal their fate in perdition and ETERNAL Fire (Matt. 25:41, Rev. 14:9-11, 20:10-15), for the anti Christ (the man of lawlessness) IS the abomination that will make all who follow him ETERNALLY desolate (Matt. 24:15, 25:41, 2 Thess. 2:10-12, Rev. 14:9-11, 20:10-15).

In this lawless one’s 3 ½ year autocratic despotic totalitarian fascist global reign, he will be absolutely invincible (Dan. 11:36-39, Rev. 13). He will seek the global worship not just of himself, but for his tyrannical angelic master Lucifer, the father and progenitor of all that is lawless (Isa. 14: 12-16, Ezek 28:13-18, Dan. 11:36-39, John 8:44, 1 John 3:8, Rev. 13). Those that will worship him – at this time – will worship him in a vile state of lawlessness.

The Righteous One

There is ONLY One who is RIGHTEOUS and gave himself for the sins and transgressions of the whole world. That One is the Son of Almighty God Jesus Christ.

The Bible states;

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved (John 3:16-17).

For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit (1 Peter 3:18).

As we see lawlessness abounding in these present days with no end in sight, may your heart be looking to the Savior of mankind.

Do you have a personal relationship to the Lord Jesus Christ in spirit and truth as the Bible clearly teaches (John 4:24)? If not, be sure to place your trust in Him today. It is absolutely crucial for your ETERNITY. He will deliver you from ALL of your transgressions against the ETERNAL RIGHTEOUS absolutes of Almighty God and the lawlessness of your heart (Jer 17:9). May you place your trust in Him today! You will NEVER be the same!

SATAN'S bOOGIE - mAN!

Lucifer - the god of this world - uses his power of DEATH and FEAR to utterly manipulate this world and to cause tremendous fear to dominate Adam's fallen race as he seeks to impose his despotic self willed agenda on all (Isa. 14:12-15, Rom. 5:12-21, Eph. 2:2-3, Heb. 2:14-15). He is a TERROR to all; in the angelic world and in this physical human world(Ezek. 28:19, Heb. 2:14-15, Rev. 12). He is a violent raging DRAGON, a roaring and powerful LION, a wise and crafty destroying and deceiving SERPENT, an ADVERSARY (i.e., Satan) and a slanderous character assassinationist (i.e., Devil) to all of the REDEEMED and RIGHTEOUS (John 8:44, Rom. 10:4, 2 Cor. 2:11, Eph. 6:12, 1 Peter 5:8, Rev. 12:9-10). He is the original rebel, the father of lies, the spiritual and physical murderer of all the dam and a tyrannical despotic autocrat bent on the over throw of Almighty God's ETERNAL person and ETERNAL sovereignty (Ezek. 28: 13-19, John 8:44, Acts 10:38, Eph. 2:2-3, Thess. 2:8-9, Heb. 2:14-15, Rev. 13). Who can stand against him or before him? Who can unshackled those under his horrific oppression? Who is his equal in Almighty God's creation? He indeed is the dread of all and the Boogie man to all of Adam's fallen race (Heb. 2:14-15).

To these horrific demonic oppressors the LORD JESUS CHRIST is the BOOGIE MAN to the boogie man.

There is ONLY One who will bring this demonic madman and his demonic rebellious legions to RIGHTEOUS JUSTICE and ETERNAL JUDGMENT (Matt. 25:41, Rev. 20:10). Their is ONLY One who has and will finally destroy this despotic monster and villain (Matt. 25:41, 1 John 3:8, Rev. 20:10). This One is the ETERNAL LORD of all Heaven and earth. This One is the ETERNAL CREATOR of all the heavens and earth - including Lucifer before he rebelled (Isa. 14:12-16, Ezek. 28:11-19, John 1:1-3, Rev. 1:11-18). This One is the RIGHTEOUS REDEEMER of all of Adam's fallen race (Psalm 110:1, Acts 2:32-36, Rom 5:12-21, 1 Cor. 1:29-31, Phil. 2:9-11, Rev. 5:9, 12-13; 21:22, 22:3-5). He is the ETERNAL Son of Almighty God, the God-Man, the Son of Man, the Lamb of Almighty God and the DESTROYER of Satan and his godless works of rebellion (John 1:1-3,14,29, Acts 10:38, 1 John 3:18, Rev. 5, 20:10). The LORD JESUS CHRIST alone sends horrific ETERNAL fear into the hearts of the fallen angelic world and their master. To these horrific demonic oppressors, the LORD JESUS CHRIST is the BOOGIE - MAN to the boogie man (Matt. 8:16, 28-32, Mark. 1:23-27, 5:1-14, James 2:19). These demonic oppressors know all to well that they are but moments away from their ETERNAL damnation (Matt. 8:16, 28-32, 25:41, Mark. 1:23-27, 5:1-14, James 2:19). These demonic tyrants of fallen mankind - who once stood in the presence of ALMIGHTY GOD - FULLY comprehend without any shadow of a doubt His ETERNAL SOVEREIGNTY and RIGHTEOUS PERSON. Even with these ETERNAL realities facing them these insane violent and lawless monsters still try to war against their Creator and seek to derail His ETERNAL program for Israel and Adams fallen race (Zech. 3:1-2, 2 Thess. 2;3-12, Heb. 2:14-15, Rev. 16:13-16).

The Savior of the world dwells in you and you have been place in Christ, who sits at the right hand of Almighty God!

For the man or women, boy or girl who has a saving relationship to Almighty God through Jesus Christ you have been delivered from the power of the boogie man of this world and have been redeemed (Acts 10:38, 2 Cor. 4:2-4, 5:17-21, Gal. 1:4, Eph. 2:1-13, Heb. 2:14-15, 1 John 3:8). The Savior of the world dwells in you and you have been placed in Christ, who sits at the right hand of Almighty God(Ps. 110:1, John 17:15-21, Eph 2:6, Col 3:1-4, Col. 1:27). You have been blessed with all spiritual blessings in Christ Jesus and have amazing spiritual power from that position (Eph. 1:3) and the most wonderful reality and truth of all is this; "Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is HE that is in you, than he that is in the world." - 1 John 4:4).

Almighty God has done WONDERFUL things for YOU my beloved! Do not be a fool and a sloth to neglect them!

My friend in Christ, when YOU CHOOSE with all of your heart to seek Almighty God's will and way for your life you become an adversary (a satan) to the Aversary (Satan) - Rom. 8:28-39, Eph. 6:12-18! Almighty God has given you an open door to proclaim His Word in which the Gates of Hell shall NOT prevail against (Matt. 16:18, Rev. 1:18)! Yes of course there will always be opposition but whatever God wills for you for His glory it will be accomplished (John 14:13, Rom. 8:28-39, Rev. 3:8)! It is only then that we can all say in unison, to God be the Glory! Almighty God has done WONDERFUL things for YOU my beloved! Do not be a fool and a sloth to neglect them. For when we do we go right back under Satan's yoke of oppresion and self will! You have the VICTORY my beloved (1 Cor. 15:54-57, 2 Cor.2:14, Phil. 4:13, 1 John 5:4, Rev. 12:11)! No go forth and redeem the time for God's glory (Eph. 5:16-17)!!!
