In its most recent crusade against posting the Ten Commandments in schools, the American Civil Liberties Union is arguing that their display is unconstitutional if people who actually believe in the biblical laws advocate it.
U.S. District Court Judge Michael Urbanski will hold a summary judgment hearing next week on a case in Virginia, in which the School Board of Giles County is fighting to allow a private individual to donate a display of dozens of American law’s foundational documents, including the Ten Commandments.
And according to The Roanoke Times, one of the ACLU’s arguments against the display is a school board member’s admission that he voted to allow the donation based on his own Christian beliefs.
The case Doe v. School Board of Giles County began in 2010, when the Freedom from Religion Foundation filed a complaint over a long-standing display of the Ten Commandments hung at Narrows High School, in Narrows, Va.
After the school removed the display, however, there was significant local backlash. Based on legal counsel, the school then permitted a private citizen – using no public funds – to create a display for the school featuring a number of important historical documents, including the Magna Carta, Declaration of Independence, Mayflower Compact, the Ten Commandments and even Thomas Jefferson’s letter to the Danbury Baptists, from which American law derives the phrase “separation of church and state.”
Yet despite federal court rulings finding such inclusive displays within constitutional bounds, the ACLU filed suit based in part, according to the Times, on the community’s outcry over the original removal of the 10 Commandments and School Board Member Joseph Gollehon’s admission – when asked if he voted for the display because he was a Christian – “It had right much to do with it.”
But according to Liberty Counsel, which is representing the school board in the case, the actions the board took are entirely constitutional, whether the members happen to be Christian or not.
“The ACLU has done everything it could to run from the facts and the laws that control this case,” said Mathew D. Staver, founder and chairman of Liberty Counsel, in a statement. “The Foundations of American Law and Government display has been upheld by multiple federal courts of appeal. It is clearly appropriate to include the Ten Commandments in a display on law, because there is no dispute that they helped shape American law and government.”
In fact, Liberty Counsel asserts, the ACLU isn’t even disputing the foundational nature of the Ten Commandments or their inclusion in the school’s curriculum, only their position in a place where students might see them.
“The Virginia Standards of Learning requires students to know about the foundational principles of civilizations, including the Hebrews, and the foundations of law and government,” Liberty Counsel explains. “Secular textbooks published by Prentice Hall and McGraw-Hill trace the roots of democracy and law and specifically refer to the Ten Commandments and many of the documents posted as part of the Foundations Display. One of the Doe plaintiffs, who is the parent of the other Doe plaintiff, a student at Narrows High School, admits that studying such documents is appropriate in a textbook and that the Ten Commandments was significant in the development of law and government. Nevertheless, the parent and the student complain that only the Ten Commandments document should be removed from the display of 20 documents. The ACLU does not challenge the curriculum, which integrates the Ten Commandments as part of various subjects of study, but only the inclusion of the Ten Commandments as part of the display.”
Liberty Counsel refers to a student and parent filing the lawsuit, their identities protected by the generic pseudonyms Doe 1 and Doe 2.
According to the Times, the ACLU has admitted the unnamed parent is actually a Christian who believes in the Ten Commandments, but out of respect for the child’s differing beliefs, is bothered by the display.
The Associated Press reports the unnamed student claims the posting of the Ten Commandments “makes me feel like an outsider because the school is promoting religious beliefs that I do not share.”
At least one local resident, however, is arguing no matter which way Judge Urbanski decides, the case has already had an impact on the community.
“This [controversy] has done more to perpetuate the gospel of Jesus Christ than we could have done in years, because you raised up in defiance against the word of God,” Pastor George Creger told an ACLU attorney, as reported by the Times. “My church has actually increased, and I want to thank you.”

House Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) said Friday that the Obama campaign's new website — which uses a fictionalized woman named Julia to illustrate how the president's policies help female voters — is "creepy" and "demeaning."

“It suggests that this woman can’t go anywhere in life without Barack Obama’s government-centered society. It’s kind of demeaning to her,” Ryan said during a constituent meeting in Wisconsin, the National Review reports. “She must have him and his big government to depend on to go anywhere in life. It doesn’t say much about his faith in Julia.”

Dubbed "The Life of Julia," the website follows a hypothetical character from age 3 to 67 and provides examples of when she might benefit from policies backed by the president — while suggesting that presumptive Republican candidate Mitt Romney would support policies that might have the opposite effect.

For instance, the youngest example — a 3-year-old Julia — is enrolled in a Head Start pre-K program backed by the federal government. But, the campaign warns, "the Romney/Ryan budget could cut programs like Head Start by 20 percent, meaning the program would offer 200,000 fewer slots per year."

The website drew swift scorn from conservatives on Twitter, who used the matter to mock the president over recent flaps. Ryan piled onto that criticism on Friday.

“Every one of those slides, I could go after their manipulation of statistics, and disentangle and unpack each of those talking points,” said Ryan. “It’s just the narrative that they’re trying to tell, that for this woman to succeed, she has to have a really big government.

“It really shows the philosophical premise they operate from, which is — I think Romney coined it well — it’s a ‘government-centered society.’ You have to have government at every stage of your life to be there for you; otherwise, you’re going to fail. It’s promoting a cradle-to-grave welfare society,” said Ryan.

Ryan discussed another website making the rounds in political circles: the "Hey Girl, It's Paul Ryan" Tumblr page that plays off a similar Internet meme featuring actor Ryan Gosling. The Wisconsin congressman said the website was "flattering, but weird."

“It’s very surreal to me — I’m just kind of a budget guy in Congress, doing my job, so it’s really kind of strange," Ryan said.

The Bible speaks of these Last Days and testifies to what the social conditions will be at this time among those who profess Christ and have a "form" of godliness. (Romans 10:2-4, 1 Tim. 3:1-7,2 Tim. 4:1-3, Jude, 1:10, Rev. 3:14-22). At this time, a secular progressive movement - initiated by the super fallen intelligences of fallen angels (i.e., demons ) will begin to dominate and influence the entire world preparing the world for Lucifer's lawless minion and the global worship of himself and his lawless super -ultra fascist world leader (2 Thess. 2:3-12, Rev.13). Some of the signs of these last days will be the abounding lawlessness of society and the demonically led anti -marriage movement along with other apostate teachings. As we see this ever growing lawless moment sweeping the world, especially in the West. We today can see the very shadows of the things which are about to come. This lawless spirit dominates the West's progressive Left, but what is most alarming is how it is sweeping into moderate and some conservative circles as well. When these groups begin to embrace this rebellious movement against the very bedrock of the world's most sacred institution how long will it truly be until we are face to face with the Day of the Lord!

One of the signs of these last days will be the demonically led anti -marriage movement along with other apostate teachings.

Liberalism - for the most part - rejects out right the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God. The root and source of this rejection - of these crucial moral laws and realities - is their subjective hatred towards the Creator of the heavens and earth (Romans 1:18-32). This base ideology is expressed and manifested in their disdain and hostility towards the American blue print drawn up by our Founding Fathers, which was based on the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God.

Liberal /progressives reject these core moral absolutes and practice a sensual subjectivism that sees God ordained absolutes through the prism of relativism and pluralism. They possess a fear of moral absolutes and believe that true freedom is to be free from any Divine instituted moral absolutes or laws that suppress their unbridled passions (Psalm 14:1-3, Isa 24:5, 2 Tim 3:1-7, Jude 1:10). They are lawless in their practices and hostile to any that impose a Divine reality or the adherence of moral absolutes (Rom. 1:28-32).

They possess a fear of moral absolutes and believe that true freedom is to be free from any Divine instituted moral absolutes or laws that suppress their unbridled passions.

The Lord Jesus stated that, you shall know men by their fruits and by their actions (Matt. 7:16-20). It is simple enough to see that where ever the “virtues” of secular liberalism are promoted and exercised that poverty, disease, anarchy, crime, social chaos, the break down of the family unit, violence and horrific social devastation are to be found.When one rejects and abandons the core moral building blocks for a health society for a godless delusion of lawlessness, expect to find social devastation and chaos (2 Tim. 3:1-7).

What is most alarming is how the very people that impose their delusional solutions and remedies upon the American people seek also to fix these ills of society by applying the very same logic that got us to this social catastrophic point in the first place. By applying these lawless solutions, these excel the rate of today’s social ills at exponential rates. Today’s American social culture is at the extreme breaking point. The evidence is every where, yet the majority of American’s live in the apathetic delusion that all is well and that we will remain and prosper as times past. Wake up America, the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand!

Over the past three years, I have heard the term “inherited” used over-and-over but not in a good sense; not an inheritance that one might receive from an unknown, rich uncle. President Barack Obama seems to have an obsession with “inherited” and usually links the word to President George W. Bush.
President Obama inherited a financial crisis; he inherited a mess; he inherited a healthcare crisis, he inherited high unemployment; and on and on.  Yawn…
One year ago, Osama bin Laden was killed.  Unlike The Butcher of Baghdad, whose pictures were spread all over the media-world to prove he really was deceased, no such pictures are available for Osama, the ultimate Taliban, aka al-Qaeda, bad guy.  If you Google for photos of the deceased bin Laden, there are plenty there; but none look the same, and Photoshop is a wonderful thing.  There are many Islamists who believe Osama is alive, but not well, in a U.S. interrogation shop.
Here are a few other things that President Obama inherited from President Bush, though for some reason, he fails to give the former president recognition:
Obama inherited a rebuilt military that President Bush engineered after eight years of President Clinton’s “budget cuts.”  When going to war with Afghanistan, for not turning over bin Laden, our military suffered from a lack of spare parts, often robbing parts from one helicopter to make another one flight-worthy.
Obama inherited the best intelligence network in the world, a network built and rebuilt by President Bush, who “inherited” a broken system from President Clinton, due to “budget cuts.”  Remember, it was Clinton who suggested to the CIA that we (the USA) not deal with “shady” informants.  Of course, they are all shady.  President Clinton had been way too busy taking care of the Oval Office to worry about “intelligence” capabilities, if you get my drift.
Obama inherited an Iraq that was no longer paying Palestinian families $ 25,000 to blow up cafes of innocent Israelis or throwing their citizens from the tops of four-story buildings.  The Butcher of Baghdad, and there is a reason he was called that, is now in the land of never.  Of course, President Obama wonders why we are in Iraq to begin with, even though Saddam Hussein tried toassassinate a retired U.S. President, a cause for war in most countries.
Obama inherited an Afghanistan that no longer allows the training and indoctrination of jihadists who want to convert or kill the entire West, East, even their own cousins who may be of a different sect.  Ishmael’s descendants, the Arab nations, were doomed since Genesis for war and fighting.  Ishmael is described below:

“He will be a wild donkey of a man; his hand will be against everyone and everyone's hand against him, and he will live in hostility toward all his brothers." (Genesis 16:12 NIV)

Obama inherited an Afghanistan where women are no longer “forced” to wear tents with little eye-slits and young girls can actually go to school.  Of course, there is that Taliban poison threat to the little girls going on.  The government is “elected” with Afghanis waiting in lines to vote, there are no jihadist training camps and a few hearts and minds have been won over, maybe.  It’s difficult to change the hearts of those who have been programmed since birth that Jews, Christians and everyone else is the devil.
Obama inherited a presidency that, thanks to President Bush, no longer “forced” citizens to pay for abortions in third-world countries or anywhere else.  One of Obama’s first Executive Orders was to overturn that legislation.  The policy, established in 1984 by Reagan, is often called theMexico City Policy.
Obama inherited the U.S. Navy SEAL Team, a team which now has record losses under his watch.  More United States soldiers have lost their lives in Afghanistan during Obama’s three years in office than in the entire eight years of Bush’s presidency.  Why have so many of our brave soldiers been killed during the reign of Obama?  Maybe because he changed the “rules of engagement” that he inherited from Bush.
Obama inherited an enhanced U.S. Drone program, a program that has successfully destroyed our enemies while preserving our soldiers.  While brutalizing Bush, Rumsfeld and Cheny over the cruelty involved in “torture,” Obama has decided that targeted killing is more humane than water-boarding.  How much information could we have accrued from Osama bin Laden?
Obama inherited a relatively secure and stable Arab Middle East, if there ever was such a thing; and peace treaties with Israel were intact.  Libya had given up their nuclear program out of fear of the wrath of Bush.  Mubarak, the leader of Egypt and U.S. and Israeli ally, was thrown under the bus in the name of getting rid of corruption, kind of like President Carter did with the Shah of Iran.  As bad as our economy is, the U.S. did manage to give $ 162,000,000 to the Palestinians last week.  These are the same Palestinians who danced in the streets in celebration as the World Trade Center crashed to the ground.  Please!  Give me corrupt over jihadist fundamentalist Islamic terrorists who want to cut the heads off Christians, Jews and atheists.
I never really heard President Bush speak of “inheriting” any hardships from Clinton, though with the 9/11 Commission Report, his inheritance was evident.  Had President Clinton acted instead of reacted, we wouldn’t be having this keyboard conversation.  But he didn’t.  Instead, President Bush inherited Clinton’s Great Blunder.
President Bush inherited a failing economy.  We often hear about the fictitious “budget surplus” under Clinton, but any of us invested in the stock market at the time of President Clinton has a good idea what Bush inherited.
Did President Obama “inherit” a floundering economy, like President Bush?  Absolutely.  Is the economy still floundering three and a half years later?  Absolutely.  What is the excuse?
President Bush not only inherited a weakened military, a weakened intelligence network and a weakened economy, he also had to deal with five of the worst hurricanes in U.S. history, includingKatrina.  Most Gulf of Mexico oil wells were shut down due to hurricane Ike during the last year of the Bush reign, so there was a reason for $ 3.50/gallon gas.  What is Obama’s reason?
Then there was the high cost of the destruction of four planes of innocent passengers, the World Trade Center and the Pentagon because of the terrorist attack he “inherited” from Clinton.  There were nine terrorist attacks on U.S. property during the Clinton administration.
President Obama flew to Afghanistan this week to once again take credit for “his” plan to send in the SEALs to get OBL.  He has taken much credit for the capture and killing of OBL but has never thanked President Bush for equipping him with a top-notch military machine.
April, 2012, had the most U.S. casualties of the year, and it looks like a record year in the works for U.S. troop deaths.

As Congressional representatives overwhelming approved the  Federal Restricted Buildings and Grounds Improvement Act in February of this year, few Americans were paying attention. When President Obama signed the Act into law, he did so in secret, without any of the fanfare that came with his signing of universal health care two years prior – and for good reason. This is one of those laws the government doesn’t want you to know exists until it’s too late to do anything about it.
For many, awareness of the existence of the new law will only become apparent when they are arrested and charged under new Federal trespassing guidelines as they attempt to protest, display signs or disrupt any person or event of national significance. An event of national significance is any activity where Secret Service agents are responsible for security. With several thousand agents in the field at any given time, events involving the President, Congressional members, staff or individuals running for Federal office are all fair game.
Simply standing with a bullhorn, holding up a sign, promoting  a contentious message or even being on the grounds of a Secret Service secured event will now make it possible for the government to detain, arrest and charge those involved in these “disruptions” (even if you just happen to be passing through) with a felonious criminal act.

Excerpt from HR 347:
Whoever attempts or conspires to knowingly, and with intent to impede or disrupt the orderly conduct of Government business or official functions, engages in disorderly or disruptive conduct in, or within such proximity to, any restricted building or grounds when, or so that, such conduct, in fact, impedes or disrupts the orderly conduct of Government business or official functions;
OR
knowingly, and with the intent to impede or disrupt the orderly conduct of Government business or official functions,
obstructs or impedes ingress or egress to or from any restricted building or grounds
…
The punishment for a violation is—
(1) a fine under this title or imprisonment for not more
than 10 years, or both, if—
(A) the person, during and in relation to the offense,
uses or carries a deadly or dangerous weapon or firearm;
(*editor’s note: did you want to show your support for the 2nd Amendment by carrying your rifle or gun to a protest or march like so many have done in the past? Do it as of now and you’re facing ten years in prison)
or
‘(B) the offense results in significant bodily injury as
defined by section 2118(e)(3); and
(2) a fine under this title or imprisonment for not more
than one year, or both, in any other case.

The law is very clear in who has authority over these events, but as is generally the case, very broad in what can or cannot be deemed a disruption.
Judge Andrew Napolitano weighs in on Fox News:

“This is not like a traffic ticket – for standing and protesting.
The type of thing that for 230 years Americans took for granted because it was protected by the First Amendment. Congress shall make no law abridging the freedom of speech has actually been abridged.
…
[The law] basically allows Secret Service agents to decide where there are ‘NO Free Speech Zones’, not ‘Free Speech Zones’… ‘NO Free Speech Zones.’
Anybody protected by the Secret Service can ask those agents to ban protests wherever they are. I can think of three violations – speech violations, association violations, and the right to petition the government for redress of your grievances.
What good is free speech if the people in the government are so far away from you that they can’t hear you.

It is a part of American history since day one that we have  the right to speak freely to, about and against those in the government.

With Red Zones and large-scale detention facilities in the process of being implemented in Chicago ahead of the May 20-21 NATO summit, there’s a strong likelihood that any protests disseminating a message in opposition to those attending this event of national significance will be met with strong-arm tactics of the new American police state.
The government is preparing to send a message to the proles, and their intention is to strike fear into the hearts and minds of every one of us.

Where once one of the more popular God and Country YouTube Channels – with more than 23,000 subscribers, 530-plus videos and 21 million views – could be accessed, now a barren page is found, save for a message. The message reads: “This account has been terminated due to repeated or severe violations of our Community Guidelines and/or claims of copyright infringement.”
For Pastor Carl Gallups, one of the people behind the popular PPSimmons YouTube Ministry, seeing a channel disabled he has worked tirelessly to build and promote since 2009 was devastating.
“It was as if you have a thriving business and you came to work one day and the building was burnt down and everything you had created was gone. Instantly,” he told WND.
Through his involvement with producing and recording more than 530 videos, Gallups was once named “Worst People in the World” by Keith Olbermann on his now-defunct MSNBC show. Videos from the PPSimmons YouTube channel were featured on CNN, “The Rachel Maddow Show” and Fox News.
The PPSimmons site was known for producing videos on biblical commentary, startling biblical revelations and, perhaps most controversially, political revelations concerning Barack Obama and his birth certificate.
The PPSimmons Ministry Channel was in excellent standing with YouTube before it was pulled last week, according to Gallups.
Of more than 530 videos released over a three-year time span, with a number of them having more than a million views, only three had come to the attention of YouTube and been “flagged” for potentially inappropriate content.
“When we first got started in 2009, we did a video on abortion that was flagged by YouTube for being too graphic,” said Gallups.
Immediately, he said, the video was pulled and PPSimmons was placed on probation for a period of time before it was completely restored to a “Good Standing” rating with YouTube.
“Since then, we haven’t had any problems with YouTube and have been grateful for having a platform to grow our ministry to the point that it became viral sensation that touched the lives of tens of thousands of people,” said Gallups.
It was only three weeks ago that PPSimmons came to the attention of YouTube again, with the posting of George Zimmerman’s 911 call.
“The media wasn’t doing their job in covering the Trayvon Martin-George Zimmerman affair,” said Gallups, who before becoming a minister spent 10 years in law enforcement. “Truth has since vindicated Zimmerman after the initial media onslaught.”
The recording was in the headlines because NBC famously quote Zimmerman saying, “This guy looks like he’s up to no good. He looks black.”
But NBC had edited out critical parts of the conversation. In reality, Zimmerman said, “This guy looks like he’s up to no good. Or he’s on drugs or something. It’s raining and he’s just walking around, looking about.”
The operator then asked: “OK, and this guy – is he black, white or Hispanic?
Zimmerman said, “He looks black.”
Gallups explained that the posting was the complete four-minute version of the call.
“That same video is all over YouTube, but they flagged the video,” he said. “We appealed the decision, and in a few days YouTube responded and admitted that they were wrong, and the video was restored, and so was our Good Standing status.”
The temporary victory was short-lived, as Gallups tried to log on to the PPSimmons account a few days later only to find the “terminated” notice.
“Though YouTube restored the Zimmerman 911 call video, we received notice that the channel was terminated because another video was flagged, and we had received too many warnings to continue to allow our channel to operate,” he said.
The video that YouTube flagged and used to closed down the PPSimmons channel was titled “A Call to Prayer” and remains on Gallups’ site.
“It was a simple video, in my voice, urging our subscribers to pray for YouTube users who were asking for our prayers and because of spiritual battles that they were experiencing in their life,” said Gallups.
It calls for prayer for those who are caught in the “demonic grip” of homosexuality, masturbation and pot smoking, “and they don’t even know it.”
It explains drug and sexual addictions are “not the way of a true believer.”
“We are not here to help people feel good about their sins,” the video explains.
Gallups said one can see videos on YouTube that attack Christianity, demonize and bully proponents of traditional marriage and call Muslims to prayer, “but to make a video calling for Christians to pray is ostensibly grounds for having your channel terminated.”

In the meantime, Gallups has started the Carl Gallups YouTube Channel and is uploading many of the videos that were featured on the terminated PPSimmons channel.

2000 years ago before Jesus was crucified and rose from the dead, He chose men. The ELITE ruling class and religious rulers of that day from their position of pride and arrogance called these men of ALMIGHTY GOD "ignorant" (Acts 4:13). Almighty God, however, called these men wise and blessed (Matt. 13:16, Luke 10:23) and to be His Fishermen and Ambassadors to a lost and dying world (2 Cor. 5:17-21).

Almighty God would use these "ignorant" men - as the godless unbelieving world perceived them - for being the catalyst for transforming and changing the entire landscape of the world by their sharing of the wonderful "Good News" of God's plan of salvation to humanity (Matt. 28:18-20, Acts 17:16). The resurrected Lord Jesus Christ (Psalm. 110:1, Acts 2) would also use these same believing Jewish men on Pentecost to establish His Church after the rejection of His Kingship and Kingdom offer to Israel (Matthew 16:13-19, Acts 2,3).

But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty (1 Cor 1:27).

Today "THE ELITE", wise and prudent of this world still reject and scoff at the claims of Almighty God's saving grace, Christ's soon return and the coming judgment upon the whole world and view these realities as absolute foolishness (1 Cor. 1: 18-31). In the day in which we live, it is our sole desire to be Almighty God's watchmen and to look at the current events of our day through the eyes of Almighty God's Word (John 17:17).

Ventria Bioscienceis currently being grown on 3,200 acres in Junction City, Kansas -- and possibly elsewhere -- and most people have no idea about it.
Since about 2006, Ventria has been quietly cultivating rice that has been genetically modified (GM) with genes from the human liver for the purpose of taking the artificial proteins produced by this "Frankenrice" and using them in pharmaceuticals. With approval from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Ventria has taken one of the most widely cultivated grain crops in the world today, and essentially turned it into a catalyst for producing new drugs.
Originally, the cultivation of this GM rice, which comes in three approved varieties (http://www.aphis.usda.gov/brs/biotech_ea_permits.html), was limited to the laboratory setting. But in 2007, Ventria decided to bring the rice outdoors. The company initially tried to plant the crops in Missouri, but met resistance from Anheuser-Busch and others, which threatened to boycott all rice from the state in the event that Ventria began planting its rice within state borders (http://todayyesterdayandtomorrow.wordpress.com).
So Ventria's GM rice eventually ended up in Kansas, where it is presumably still being grown for the purpose of manufacturing drugs on 3,200 acres in Junction City. And while this GM rice with added human traits has never been approved for human consumption, it is now being cultivated in open fields where the potential for unrestrained contamination and spread of its unwanted, dangerous GM traits is virtually a given.
"This is not a product that everyone would want to consume," said Jane Rissler from the Union of Concerned Scientists (UCS) to the Washington Post back in 2007. "It is unwise to produce drugs in plants outdoors."
Though receiving tens of thousands of public comments of opposition, many rightly concerned about the spread of GM traits, the USDA approved open cultivation of Ventria's GM rice anyway. This, of course, occurred after the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) had refused approval for Ventria's GM rice back in 2003 (http://www.kansasruralcenter.org/publications/PharmaRice.pdf).
Besides the threat of contamination and wild spread, Ventria's GM rice, which is purportedly being grown to help third-world children overcome chronic diarrhea, may conversely cause other chronic diseases.
"These genetically engineered drugs could exacerbate certain infections, or cause dangerous allergic or immune system reactions," said Bill Freese, Science Policy Analyst at the Center for Food Safety (CFS), who published a report back in 2007 about the dangers of Ventria's GM rice.
