While Trying To Disparage GOP … Obama Accidentally Reveals Vile Reason He Wanted To Become President
President Barack Obama, former community organizer from Chicago, has imparted his profound words of wisdom onto the candidates seeking to replace him in office.
“I will tell you as president, if you’re interested just because you like the title or you like the trappings or you like the power, or the fame, or the celebrity, that side of it wears off pretty quick…
At least it has for me.”
Though we are in the final year of the Obama regime, this offhanded statement, offered to NPR’s Steve Inskeep, gives the American people an inside look into who the president really is, and why he sought office in the first place.
It apparently had nothing to do with being a public servant, and working to better the nation’s economy, defense, and place in the world.
For Obama, if we were to take him at his word, it was all about the power and fame- about being a celebrity.
This would explain why Obama has appeared on numerous talk shows, comedy shows, and even reality shows as the present was looking at himself as a celebrity rather than a dignified world leader.
In addition, it also gives a little bit of insight into why the Obama administration has chosen to act outside the Constitution, enacting executive orders to do things that he was not legally allowed to do. More specifically, granting amnestiy for millions of illegal aliens with the stroke of his ‘might pen.’
Perhaps its the reason why America has felt leaderless for the last seven years, as the president has chosen to go golfing while American citizens are being tortured and killed, and why he chose to vacation while a brutal regime known as the Islamic State was able to establish itself and carry attacks across the globe.
If he saw himself as more of a celebrity, rather than the leader of the free world, it would explain why there has been so very little leadership coming from the Oval Office. For Obama, it just seems like it has been a place to take an eight-year vacation at the tax-payers’ expense.
