Creeping Sharia | Documenting the Islamization of America

Creeping Sharia | Documenting the Islamization of America

Sharia & The Language Our Enemies Use

“To begin with, the law of the land is the Shari’ah of Allah. The leader, or Khalifa of the Islamic nation, implements the Shari’ah in society and the people try to follow it…The basis of the legal and political system is the Shari’ah of Allah.” So states What Islam is All About, (pages 376 ad 381) one of the most popular junior high school text books used in Islamic schools in America.
This is a good place for us to begin this week’s series on Sharia – Islamic Law. Sharia is the “law of the land.” It is not ‘religious law’ or a ‘spiritual guide.’ It is law. Sharia is law adjudicated by jurists and legal scholars, and ruled on by Qadi judges. Sharia is real law. It should be likened to U.S. Federal Code, not Jewish Halakhah or Christian Canon Law.
So here is our first challenging question of this week’s series on Sharia: How can Sharia be so clearly defined and implemented by Islamic legal scholars and jurists around the world, taught to elementary and junior high school students in Islamic schools around the world, yet appears to be very confusing to leaders in the West?
The Language Our Enemies Use

As has been documented in previous UTT Blogs, the Muslim Brotherhood, Al Qaeda, and the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC – the largest international body second only to the UN made up of the heads of states of all Islamic nations), all state the imposition of Sharia and the establishment of the Caliphate (Islamic State) are their end objectives.
When leaders from known Muslim Brotherhood organizations or their allies speak, we must translate the English words they use into the meaning of the word as defined by Sharia.  Once we do this, the enemies intentions become crystal clear.
“Jihad” and “Peace”
As mentioned earlier, 100% of all Sharia only defines Jihad as “warfare against non-Muslims.” Islam divides the entire world into two parts: the Dar al Islam (the House/Abode of Peace) and the Dar al Harb (the House/Abode of War). Anywhere in the world where there is Sharia under Islamic rule is the Dar al Islam. The rest of the world is the Dar al Harb. The purpose of Islam is to reduce the Dar al Harb to non-existence until the entire world becomes the Dar al Islam – then you have “Peace” under Sharia. Once this is achieved there is no need for Jihad which is why it is not one of the five pillars of Islam.
“Suicide” and “Martyrdom”
Suicide is unlawful under Sharia. Martyrdom, or being killed in Jihad, is the only way under Sharia to guarantee entry into Paradise.
“Innocent”
The only innocent people under Sharia are Muslims. Non-Muslims are never innocent and are guilty of not following Sharia or subordinating themselves to it.
“Terrorism”
Killing a Muslim without right. Under Sharia Muslims can be killed for leaving Islam (Apostacy) and for killing another Muslim without right to do so under Sharia. Any other time a Muslim is killed it is “terrorism.” Under Sharia, an example would be American troops killing Muslims in Afghanistan and Iraq.
“Freedom”
Freedom from man-made laws. Only Sharia can be the law of the land.
“Justice”
Justice under the Sharia.
So, the next time you see a leader of the local Muslim Brotherhood Islamic Center in your hometown says “We denounce terrorism and call for a protection of all innocents because we want freedom, justice, and peace here and around the world” – don’t accuse him of lying because he isn’t.  You need to adjust the reception on your end and translate with Sharia as the filter.
Finally, it should be noted that if readers would like to deepen their study on Sharia, they must purchase books written for Muslim audiences by Muslims who are recognized as scholars in the Islamic world.  Anything other than this will be meaningless.  Why?  Because Sharia makes it a capital crime for Muslims to teach other Muslims something false about Islam.  Go to your local mosque bookstore and buy books for Muslims on Islamic Law – and take cash.

Senior DHS Adviser: ‘Inevitable that ‘Caliphate’ Returns’

A controversial senior adviser to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is receiving criticism for tweeting that the recent takeover of Iraqi cities by a violent terror group is proof that a Muslim “caliphate” is making an “inevitable” return.
Mohamed Elibiary, a controversial figure and member of DHS’s Homeland Security Advisory Council (HSAC), discussed what he described as the “inevitable” return of a Muslim caliphate Friday on Twitter.
“As I’ve said b4 inevitable that ‘Caliphate’ returns,” Elibiary tweeted in response to a question about the terror group Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (also known as ISIS, or the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham), which is currently seeking to overthrow the Iraqi government and instate strict Sharia law in the country.
“Choice only whether we support [European Union] like Muslim Union vision or not,” wrote Elibiary, who has “advised numerous federal, state and local law enforcement organizations on homeland security-related matter,” according to his biography on DHS’s website.
Elibiary has come under heavy criticism in the past for claiming that America is “an Islamic country with an Islamically compliant constitution.” Critics have said that such rhetoric makes him unfit to serve as an adviser for DHS, which is tasked with defending the U.S. border from terrorism.
Elibiary, in his more recent comments, went on to claims that conservatives “misread” the 9/11 terror attacks and “should reassess” their “belligerence.”
The discussion began with Elibiary mocking CNN for reporting on ISIL’s implementation of strict Islamic guidelines in the Iraqi territories it has seized.
CNN just broadcast list of ISIL hudod [restrictions] rules,” Elibiary tweeted. “Reminds me of how we were outraged pre 9/11 by Taliban banning white socks 4 women.”
The remark prompted Twitter user David Reaboi, a former official with the national security group Center for Security Policy (CSP), to ask Elibiary if ISIL’s actions should prompt outrage in the United States.
That led Elibiary to claim that it is “inevitable” that a caliphate return.
“So you’re in favor of supporting that ‘inevitable’ Caliphate or not?” Reaboi asked.
Elibiary responded that the United States is moving to engage with radical Islamic groups such as the Muslim Brotherhood and others.
“As I’ve stated b4. Y’all in the [national security] ubber hawks camp misread 9/11 & should reassess ur belligerence,” wrote Elibiary, who claims that his tweets reflect on his personal opinion.
In hindsight, what Elibiary is actually praising here is the terror group Hamas.

UK: Soldiers not told they are eating halal meat

Soldiers are unwittingly being fed halal meat in military bases , the Ministry of Defence has admitted.
The MoD has confirmed that only troops who request specific meals are told the source of the meat they are eating.
Food served in MoD canteens in both UK and permanent bases abroad is not routinely labelled to indicate it has been slaughtered using religious methods to ensure it is halal or kosher.
Only military personnel who specifically request their meals are prepared in accordance with religious practice are told which dishes they can eat, a Freedom of Information request disclosed.
The MoD said it does not label halal food, in accordance with current Government guidelines which state dishes do not have to indicate the method of slaughter.
The Government has so far refused to introduce compulsory labelling and said a review of the process would only take place once a European Commission study had been completed.
The MoD confirmed food served at bases in the UK and overseas is not labelled to indicate how it had been prepared.
They said: “Troops can ask at the serving point if the food that is being served is halal.
“There is always an alternative option.”
In other words, it’s all sharia compliant halal, but if soldiers ask to opt out, they can have some veggies.

Mohammed running for GOP state senate seat in Tennessee

Mwafaq Aljabbary (aka Mwafaq Mohammed), identifies himself as a Republican who is running for the District 21 Senate seat vacated by Democrat Douglas Henry who has retired but held that seat since 1971.
During a May candidate forum, Aljabbary revealed that he is running his campaign under his real name.
Does that mean that he legally changed his name from the one he used topurchase his home which is the address he used on his qualifying petition?
Which name does he uses for his job with the TN Department of Transportation?
Which name did he use to qualify to be a candidate?
Which name does he use on his voter ID? Does he have a voter ID card for each name?
When he runs for a GOP Senate position he says he is Mwafaq Aljabbarry.
When he criticizes the Speaker of the Senate, Lt. Gov. Ron Ramsey for his comments about concerns for radical Islam, he says he is Mwafaq Mohammed.
During the same May candidate forum, Mwafaq Aljabbary said that if elected, he would vote to repeal Common Core, Haslam’s cornerstone of education reform.
How will Mwafaq Mohammed vote on a Common Core repeal?
Any chance Gov. Haslam will get around to stumping for incumbent Republicans who also openly opposed Common Core during the last legislative session?
left to right:  Rawling (running for District 51 House seat), Aljabbary or Mohammed (we are not sure which he wants to be in this picture), Gov. Haslam
 More:
Elections for the office of Tennessee State Senate will consist of a primary election on August 7, 2014, and a general election on November 4, 2014. Mwafaq Aljabbary will face Diana Cuellar and Quincy McKnight in the Republican primary.

New Jersey: Residents Wary About Mosque in Quiet Neighborhood

Wonder why? Korean Presbyterians worldwide have killed zero spreading Christianity. Muslims on the other hand…midland_park_mosque_2
midland_park_mosque_0613
As CBS 2’s Christine Sloan reported, the building at 218 Irving St. in Midland Park now houses the Korean Han Ma Um Reformed Church. But the El-Zahra Islamic Education Foundation is closing in on a deal to turn the building into a mosque.
Some residents do not like the idea at all.
Kathy Peppes told CBS 2’s Sloan she was worried her street will see more traffic.
“My main concern is the safety of my family, and my son, and all his friends that play on the street,” Peppes said.
Peppes’ home is next to the parking lot for the building.
She said she was also concerned about “the noise this might create, because I know that they also pray and chant outdoors.”
Bergen County resident Hammad Farooq said the detractors are misinformed.
“Our religion does teach peace, so to anybody that calls us out and says all that bad stuff – nasty stuff – I think they should really look into it first,” he said.
The Islamic Foundation currently rents space at a mosque in Teaneck. The street is packed each Friday for prayer services.
But the imam raising money for the Midland Park mosque said he will not have as many people as in Teaneck.
“We found a house of worship to meet the needs of our families and the Muslim community around Midland Park,” Imam Mohammad Charaf said in a statement.
Town officials said for 50 years, the Irving Street building has been zoned for a house of worship, so there was no problem issuing a zoning certificate.
A planning board meeting is scheduled Monday, and residents such as Peppes said they will be there.
Imam Charaf declined an on-camera interview. He would not say when the foundation would close the deal for the mosque.
The media won’t tell you and residents may be scared to say it, but 154 Bergen County residents were killed by Muslims on 9/11. They have every right to not want a mosque in their back yard. No logical thinking human being would.

“Children” a Distraction as Cartels, Terrorists Flood Across Southern Border (video)

National security is completely compromised.”
Rapidly becoming the most disruptive event in modern U.S. history. Ignored by elected officials who swore an oath to “support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic.” If protecting U.S. borders and expelling invaders – whatever age they may be – is not the highest priority, the United States of America is no longer.
DML: Do the American people have any idea as to what is coming across?
BP: No.  This is not about what you see, it’s about what you don’t see.  The amount of criminals, murderers and terrorists entering the U.S. right now is overwhelming.  We can’t stop it.  We’re like the cream inside an Oreo.  We’re stuck in the middle.  Scouts watch us from the Mexican side.  Scouts watch us from the American side.  Americans are working for the Cartels.
DML: Americans?
BP: Yes, and lots of them.  And because we are so preoccupied, the opportunities for the very worst people to sneak across is there 24/7.  Everyone in our agency knows it.  National security is completely compromised.
DML: How long has this been going on?
BP: It started to get really bad in January.  But it’s gotten really, really bad over the last month and seems to be worsening by the day.  The traffic is unreal.
DML: Who gave the directive to release these people into the U.S. instead of deporting them?
BP: It’s definitely coming from high up.  One day during roll call we were told we have new procedures regarding families.  And that’s when we started releasing them all into the U.S.   Agents like myself were up in arms, but there is nothing we can do.  Nobody, and I mean nobody, working at the Border Patrol is happy about what is happening.  We want to deport these people.  We want to do our jobs.

Obama Releases Dozen More Jihad Detainees Out of Afghan Prison

The Obama administration has quietly repatriated a dozen detainees from a small U.S. military prison in Afghanistan, moving a modest step closer toward winding down the United States’ controversial post-9/11 detainee system.
President Barack Obama, in a letter to Congress released on Thursday, informed U.S. lawmakers that about 38 non-Afghan prisoners remained at the Parwan detention center outside of Kabul, down from around 50 a few months ago.
A U.S. defense official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said that a Frenchman, a Kuwaiti and 10 Pakistani prisoners were sent back to their respective home countries at the end of May.
The remaining detainees include Yemeni, Tunisian and more Pakistani nationals, and a Russian who the United States is also considering trying in a military or civilian court.
The non-Afghan prisoners at Parwan are the only detainees remaining in U.S. custody in Afghanistan after U.S. officials shifted hundreds of Afghan prisoners to Afghan government custody last year.
In February, U.S. officials were outraged when the government of Afghan President Hamid Karzai released 65 of those prisoners, who Washington insisted were dangerous militants requiring at least further investigation.
The U.S. government considers some remaining non-Afghan prisoners at Parwan, like some at Guantanamo, too dangerous to be freed. Some of them have unclear links to the Afghan conflict, including a Yemeni arrested in Bangkok and secretly moved to Afghanistan.
The Parwan detainees’ identities, and the transfer of some of them to other countries in the past, have remained largely a mystery to the public in the United States and Afghanistan.
Last month, the Defense Department provided U.S. lawmakers with a classified report on the identities of the detainees and their alleged militant ties.

Nigeria: Muslim group seeking sharia kills 1,000+ in 2 months, incl 173 teachers

The Ogun State chairman, Nigeria Union of Teachers, Mr. Dare Ilekoya, has said no fewer than 173 teachers have been killed in Adamawa, Yobe and Borno states by the violent Islamic sect, Boko Haram.
He said this on Thursday during a protest in Abeokuta against on the kidnap of the abducted female pupils of Government Secondary School, Chibok, Borno State.
The national body had ordered pupils in public primary and secondary to stay at home to express NUT’s concern on the abduction.
Ilekoya noted that it became expedient for government at all levels to ensure quick release of these girls, else there wouldn’t be anything worth celebrating on May 27, Children’s Day.
He said, “Government must stop the incessant killings of Nigerians. A total of 173 teachers have been killed by the Boko Haram insurgents in Adamawa, Yobe and Borno states.
“We are also concerned about the abducted Chibok girls. The abduction of the girls is nothing but a stumbling block to the realisation of the Millennium Development goals on education by 2015.”
Ilekoya, who commended the international community for rising up against terror, called on the government to provide adequate security in schools and make the learning and teaching environment conducive.
With members displaying placards with inscriptions such as ‘Nigeria keep moving, victory is certain over Boko Haram’, ‘Enough is enough’ and ‘Bring back our girls’ among others, Ilekoya said the federal and state governments should pay adequate compensation to the families of the slain teachers.
He said, “It is also important to take insurance cover for both pupils and teachers in the vulnerable political environment in the country.”
In the two months since Boko Haram fighters kidnapped hundreds of schoolgirls in northeastern Nigeria, the terror group has taken at least 1,000 lives in what may be the deadliest killing spree by a single terrorist group since the Sept. 11 attacks, according to an NBC News analysis of reports from the region.
While the fate of the 272 girls kidnapped on April 14 remains unknown, Boko Haram has added to its bloodthirsty reputation since the abduction with a string of attacks — including three that killed more than 100 men, women and children apiece. The pace of the attacks has increased dramatically since the kidnappings, instilling fear not just in the civilian population, but in the Nigerian government and security services as well, according to U.S. counterterrorism officials.
“The group’s ability to conduct high-casualty attacks has evolved to an unprecedented level, even compared to 2012 when they bombed the U.N. building in Abuja,” said one senior counterterrorism official, who spoke on condition of anonymity. “This period far surpasses that. The group has learned how to make their tactics more deadly and has expanded their reach beyond the control of security forces.”
The worst was an attack last month on two public markets in the towns of Gamboru and Ngala in Borno state that killed more than 300 people. That incident alone was the third-worst terror attack since al Qaeda used hijacked jetliners to attack on the Twin Towers and the Pentagon on Sept. 11, 2001, trailing only a coordinated string of car bombings targeting Yazidi communities in northern Iraq on Aug. 14, 2007, that left 796 dead, and the school massacre in Beslan, Russia, in 2004, which killed more than 380 people, mostly children.
Living conditions for the more than 240 Nigerian schoolgirls kidnapped by the jihadist group Boko Haram are worsening as they pass 60 days in captivity, according to a human-rights group.
Cameron Thomas, Africa analyst for International Christian Concern, said his sources in Nigeria say three camps in neighboring Niger and Chad are known to be holding at least some of the girls, who were abducted April 15 from their secondary school in Chibok, in Nigeria’s north, where Boko Haram has waged a deadly campaign to impose Islamic law.
“The fact remains that with each passing day, their chance for freedom, yet alone survival, diminishes,” Thomas said.
Some reportedly have been sold off as child brides by their Islamic captors for as little as $12.
“No girl or woman, neither in Nigeria nor beyond, should ever be subjected to treatment as property,” he said.

Latest Muslim jihad, the final death knell for the Christians of Iraq?

All according to the Koran and Mohamed’s example. via Iraq’s Vulnerable Christians Further Imperiled by Jihadist Advance | CNS News.
The startling gains made by jihadist fighters in Iraq are placing the region’s already extremely vulnerable Christians in even greater peril, Christian advocacy groups are warning.
While hundreds of thousands of Iraqis are affected by the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant’s takeover of key cities including the Ninawa (Nineveh) provincial capital, Mosul, minority Christians – some of whom trace their origins to the earliest years of Christianity – are among those with the most to lose.
In previous years, Christians fleeting violence in Baghdad or elsewhere in the south often headed for the Mosul area. The Nineveh Plain formed the historic homeland of Assyrians, an ancient non-Arab ethnic group in Iraq. Main Christian denominations include Chaldean Catholic, Assyrian, Syrian Orthodox, Armenian and evangelicals.
Syria was another key destination for Christians who were able to leave Iraq, but the civil war there made life even riskier across the border than at home, prompting some to return.
For many Christians in the Mosul area now, the autonomous Kurdish region to the north-east may offer the best short-term hope – if they are able to cross over. Chaldean archbishop Amel Nona told the Catholic charity Aid to the Church in Need (ACN) he believed all Mosul’s Christians had left the city, and spoke of efforts to find emergency accommodation in ancient Christian villages in the Nineveh Plain.
As the jihadists swept into Mosul this week, they reportedly looted and torched churches, raised their black “there is no god but Allah” flags and started demanding that women wear the Islamic veil.
The Assyrian International News Agency identified two of the targeted churches as the Chaldean Church of the Holy Spirit, and an Armenian church under construction, which it said was bombed.
Barnabas Fund, an aid agency that supports minority Christians in Islamic countries, said the attacks on churches were “a clear statement from ISIS that they are no longer welcome in Mosul.”
“It is feared that this latest exodus could be the final death knell for the Christians of Iraq,” said Barnabas international director Patrick Sookdheo.
“Having previously sought refuge in Syria, this is no longer an option, and as ISIS violence threatens the stability of the wider region, Christians have very few places of safety to which to run.”
An Iraq-based representative of the religious freedom advocacy group Open Doors sounded a similar warning.
“This could be the last migration of Christians from Mosul,” the organization quoted the representative as saying. Open Doors says an estimated 1,000 Christian families were living in the city as of Monday this week.
“The Islamist terrorists want to make Iraq a ‘Muslim only’ nation and as a result they want all Christians out,” Open Doors USA President/CEO Dr. David Curry said in a statement.
“The situation for Christians has deteriorated each year over the past 10 years. Iraqi Christians have faced kidnappings, threats and even death for being followers of Jesus. And they have little faith in their government to provide security as we see in the tragedy unfolding this week.”
Obama sends troops, money and arms to defend Islam, but to defend Christians he claims a political solution is needed.

Dearborn Muslims take steps to nullify First Amendment free speech rights

And they will seek those they wish to subjugate (Jews & Christians) to help them.
DEARBORN — Several Qurans were burned in front of a mosque at about noon Tuesday in possible connection with anti-Islam Pastor Terry Jones’ expected visit to the city Saturday.
The mosque is the center of Dearborn’s Iraqi Shi’a community and is often visited by people interested in its history. Al-Husainy said visitors come each week and for group tours.
Iraqi Shia? Wouldn’t the likely suspects then be Sunni Muslims who are slaughtering Shia in Iraq and elsewhere?
Several attorneys also met with the imams at Thursday’s meeting. Al-Husainy said they helped with legal advice in his plan for a new law making it illegal to burn or desecrate holy books.
“We want all of the religions to cooperate with us to bring respect to the word of God, whether the Quran, Bible, or Torah,” he said.
He said he understands it will be a challenge.
“But again, a journey of 1,000 miles starts with one step,” he said.
He and the imams will collect signatures of supporters before addressing the City Council to inquire about making a new city ordinance.
Al-Husainy said it’s a duty to protect the divine word.
This is sharia.
He said he worries that a nation where the words of God are burned in disrespect will not be blessed anymore.
Several attempts to legally prohibit the desecration of the American flag have failed in the U.S. for reasons that it violates rights to free speech.
Burning the American flag is ok but Obama says:
It’s not the first call by Muslims in the U.S. to enforce sharia law, and if fact, it’s already in affect:

Obama’s ‘Taliban Five’ are even worse than you’ve heard

One of the five senior Taliban leaders transferred to Qatar in exchange for Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl played a key role in al Qaeda’s plans leading up to the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. Mohammad Fazl, who served as the Taliban’s army chief of staff and deputy defense minister prior to his detention at Guantánamo, did not have a hand in planning the actual 9/11 hijackings. Along with a notorious al Qaeda leader, however, Fazl did help coordinate a military offensive against the enemies of the Taliban and al Qaeda in Afghanistan the day before. And Osama bin Laden viewed that September 10 offensive as an essential part of al Qaeda’s 9/11 plot.LOG.v19-39.June23.Joscelyn
The 9/11 Commission found that the hijackings in the United States on September 11, 2001, were the culmination of al Qaeda’s three-step plan. First, on September 9, 2001, al Qaeda assassinated Northern Alliance commander Ahmed Shah Massoud in a suicide bombing. Massoud’s death was a major gift to the Taliban because he was their chief rival and still controlled parts of the country. The assassination was also intended to weaken opposition to the Taliban and al Qaeda within Afghanistan before the United States could plan its retaliation for the most devastating terrorist attack in history. The Northern Alliance did, in fact, play a role in America’s response.
The following day, September 10, al Qaeda and the Taliban took their second step. A “delayed Taliban offensive against the Northern Alliance was apparently coordinated to begin as soon as [Massoud] was killed,” the 9/11 Commission found. Fazl and one of bin Laden’s chief lieutenants, Abdul Hadi al Iraqi, played key roles in this setup for 9/11. At the time, al Iraqi oversaw what al Qaeda called the Arab 55th Brigade, which was Osama bin Laden’s chief fighting force inside Afghanistan and fought side by side with Mullah Omar’s forces.
According to a leaked Joint Task Force Guantánamo (JTF-GTMO) threat assessment of Fazl, al Iraqi met with Fazl “on several occasions to include immediately following the assassination of [Massoud] in September 2001.” Al Iraqi “stated the Northern Alliance was demoralized after the assassination and [he] met with [Fazl] to immediately coordinate an attack with the Taliban against the Northern Alliance.”
Al Qaeda viewed both the assassination of Massoud and the offensive launched the following day as necessary components of the 9/11 plot.
More on Fazl and the other released jihadists at Long War Journal.
One of the high-ranking al Qaeda commanders Fazl long cooperated with was Abdel Hadi al Iraqi, who led Osama bin Laden’s Arab 055 Brigade in the Taliban’s Afghanistan. The 055 Brigade was bin Laden’s chief fighting force and served alongside Taliban units.
Immediately “following the assassination of Northern Alliance commander Ahmad Shah Massoud in September 2001,” al Iraqi explained to US officials, “the Northern Alliance was demoralized” and he met with Fazl to “coordinate an attack with the Taliban against the Northern Alliance.”
Prior to his detention, Fazl “wielded considerable influence throughout the northern region of Afghanistan and his influence continued after his capture.” Fazl’s “name and capture have been used in recruiting campaigns by the Taliban.”
“If released,” JTF-GTMO warned in a February 2008 memo, Fazl “would likely rejoin the Taliban and establish ties with [Anti-Coalition Militia] elements participating in hostilities against U.S. and Coalition forces in Afghanistan.”

Canada: Another Islamic honor killing attempt, Muslim tries to kill wife, daughter in Ottawa

An Ottawa real estate agent is facing two counts of attempted murder after he allegedly attacked his wife and daughter in a domestic dispute that sent the pair to hospital with “serious traumatic injuries” late Saturday.
Labib Khawas, 55, appeared in court via video link Monday as the attempted murder charges were read to him. He stood motionless and only mumbled a broken “yes,” when the judge asked him if he understood.
Paramedics responded to Khawas’ upscale home at 66 Links Rd. near the Canadian Golf and Country Club around 11:15 p.m. Saturday night for a domestic assault. When they arrived, they treated Khawas’ wife Dianne and his 20-something daughter Jenna for serious injuries.
Paramedics would not confirm or deny reports that Jenna had her finger sliced off with a butcher knife and Dianne was slashed in
the neck. The couple has another daughter Nadia and another university-aged son named Adam. Neither was injured.
A neighbour in the upscale Ashton neighbourhood who wouldn’t give his name told Metro that Khawas is of Muslim faith, while his wife, originally from Sudbury, converted to the religion.
Khawas is a real-estate agent at Coldwell Banker on Woodward Drive, but his bio and photo have already been removed from the website.

Benghazi attackers used State Dept. cell phones to call terrorist leaders, US spy agencies listened

The terrorists who attacked the U.S. consulate and CIA annex in Benghazi on September 11, 2012 used cell phones, seized from State Department personnel during the attacks, and U.S. spy agencies overheard them contacting more senior terrorist leaders to report on the success of the operation, multiple sources confirmed to Fox News.
The disclosure is important because it adds to the body of evidence establishing that senior U.S. officials in the Obama administration knew early on that Benghazi was a terrorist attack, and not a spontaneous protest over an anti-Islam video that had gone awry, as the administration claimed for several weeks after the attacks.
Eric Stahl, who recently retired as a major in the U.S. Air Force, served as commander and pilot of the C-17 aircraft that was used to transport the corpses of the four casualties from the Benghazi attacks – then-U.S. Ambassador to Libya Chris Stevens, information officer Sean Smith, and former Navy SEALs Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods – as well as the assault’s survivors from Tripoli to the safety of an American military base in Ramstein, Germany.
In an exclusive interview on Fox News’ “Special Report,” Stahl said members of a CIA-trained Global Response Staff who raced to the scene of the attacks were “confused” by the administration’s repeated implication of the video as a trigger for the attacks, because “they knew during the attack…who was doing the attacking.” Asked how, Stahl told anchor Bret Baier: “Right after they left the consulate in Benghazi and went to the [CIA] safehouse, they were getting reports that cell phones, consulate cell phones, were being used to make calls to the attackers’ higher ups.”
A separate U.S. official, one with intimate details of the bloody events of that night, confirmed the major’s assertion. The second source, who requested anonymity to discuss classified data, told Fox News he had personally read the intelligence reports at the time that contained references to calls by terrorists – using State Department cell phones captured at the consulate during the battle – to their terrorist leaders. The second source also confirmed that the security teams on the ground received this intelligence in real time.
Major Stahl was never interviewed by the Accountability Review Board, the investigative panel convened, pursuant to statute, by then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, as the official body reviewing all the circumstances surrounding the attacks and their aftermath. Many lawmakers and independent experts have criticized the thoroughness of the ARB, which also never interviewed Clinton.
In his interview on “Special Report,” Stahl made still other disclosures that add to the vast body of literature on Benghazi – sure to grow in the months ahead, as a select House committee prepares for a comprehensive probe of the affair, complete with subpoena power. Stahl said that when he deposited the traumatized passengers at Ramstein, the first individual to question the CIA security officers was not an FBI officer but the senior State Department diplomat on the ground.
“They were taken away from the airplane,” Stahl said. “The U.S. ambassador to Germany [Philip D. Murphy] met us when we landed and he took them away because he wanted to debrief them that night.” Murphy stepped down as ambassador last year. A message left with Sky Blue FC, a private company in New Jersey with which Murphy is listed online as an executive officer, was not immediately returned.
Stahl also contended that given his crew’s alert status and location, they could have reached Benghazi in time to have played a role in rescuing the victims of the assault, and ferrying them to safety in Germany, had they been asked to do so. “We were on a 45-day deployment to Ramstein air base,” he told Fox News. “And we were there basically to pick up priority missions, last-minute missions that needed to be accomplished.”
“You would’ve thought that we would have had a little bit more of an alert posture on 9/11,” Stahl added. “A hurried-up timeline probably would take us [an] hour-and-a-half to get off the ground and three hours and fifteen minutes to get down there. So we could’ve gone down there and gotten them easily.”

Jihadist behind takeover of Mosul released from U.S. custody in 2009

The FBI “most wanted” mugshot shows a tough, swarthy figure, his hair in a jailbird crew-cut. The $10 million price on his head, meanwhile, suggests that whoever released him from US custody four years ago may now be regretting it.
Taken during his years as a detainee at the US-run Camp Bucca in southern Iraq, this is the only known photograph of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the new leader of al-Qaeda in Iraq and Syria. But while he may lack the photogenic qualities of his hero, Osama bin Laden, he is fast becoming the new poster-boy for the global jihadist movement.
Well-organised and utterly ruthless, the ex-preacher is the driving force behind al-Qaeda’s resurgence throughout Syria and Iraq, putting it at the forefront of the war to topple President Bashar al-Assad and starting a fresh campaign of mayhem against the Western-backed government in Baghdad.
On Tuesday, his forces achieved their biggest coup in Iraq to date, seizing control of government buildings in Mosul, the country’s third biggest city. Coming on top of similar operations in January that planted the black jihadi flag in the towns of Fallujah and Ramadi, it gives al-Qaeda control of large swathes of the north and west of the country, and poses the biggest security crisis since the US pull-out two years ago.
al-Qaeda now has its most formidable leadership since Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, the Jordanian who kidnapped the British hostage, Ken Bigley, and who died in a missile strike in 2006.
When al-Baghdadi was announced as a new leader in 2010 – following the killing of two other top commanders – al-Qaeda was seriously on the back foot, not just in Iraq but regionwide. In former strongholds like Fallujah, its fighters had been routed after their brutality sparked a rebellion by local tribes. In Pakistan and Afghanistan, drone strikes were destroying the cream of its senior leadership. And the following year, the onset of the Arab Spring revolutions, with their emphasis on democracy and human rights, made it look simply irrelevant.
Indeed, when bin Laden himself was killed in May 2011, Baghdadi’s pledge to revenge his death with 100 terrorist attacks across Iraq looked like little more than bluster.
Today, he is already well past that target, thanks to a devastating campaign of car bombings and Mumbai-style killing sprees that has pushed Iraq’s death toll back up to around 1,000 per month.
“Baghdadi is actually more capable than the man he took over from,” said Dr Knights. “It’s one of those unfortunate situations where taking out the previous leadership has made things worse, not better.”
Quietly-spoken and publicity-shy, Baghdadi is said to be fond of turning up on frontline operations himself. Mindful, though, of the price on his head — second only to the $25m reward for al-Qaeda’s No 1, Ayman al Zawahari – he takes extensive precautions.

DHS Islamist tweets enthusiasm for Muslim Brotherhood

Mohamed Elibiary, a noted Islamist serving as a Senior Fellow on the Department of Homeland Security’s Advisory Council spends a lot of his time on Twitter.
In many of Elibiary’s posts, he queries why some on the right question his patriotism and whether he truly has an interest in stopping terrorists. A quick example of some of his tweets can help answer this question.
Last month Elibiary tweeted his congratulations to the Palestinians for forming a unity government between the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO) and Hamas:
Moreover, in a recent tweet, Elibiary showed his open enthusiasm when the Muslim Brotherhood (founders of Hamas) announced its support for the unity government:
Elibiary2
First, Hamas is a terrorist organization – they’ve been designated as such by the State Department and everything (#Snark). Hamas is an openly anti-, violent terrorist organization. They have claimed responsibility for the deaths of hundreds of innocent Israelis through the cowardly act of suicide bombing. Moreover, they have never renounced their interest in killing Jews and they still state that they will never recognize Israel.
Moreover, Hamas’ parent organization, the Muslim Brotherhood – according to their American branches own Explanatory Memorandum – has been waging a subversive “Civilization jihad” in America in an attempt at “destroying Western civilization from within.”
This is a man who helps craft America’s counter-terrorism policies. Yet he is openly excited that an organization that wants to “destroy Western civilization” decided to support the actions taken by one of their subsidiaries, which advocates killing Jews.
Elibiary’s Islamist sympathies have been exposed in the past.
Additionally, an appropriate Twitter post for a member of the Department of Homeland Security’s Advisory Council to issue on a unity government with Hamas should read a little more like:
‘We need to cut off all aid to the new Palestinian unity government because they are openly uniting with terrorists.’

Kentucky: Muslim-owned cancer clinic pays $3.7M for prolonged chemo racket

The owners of an Elizabethtown cancer clinic have paid $3.7 million to settle claims that they extended the period of chemotherapy for their patients to pad their bills to the government.
“To subject cancer patients to unnecessary treatments that are physically draining and emotionally stressful is utterly unconscionable,” said Patrick McFarland, inspector general of the U.S. Office of Personnel Management.
U.S. Attorney David Hale announced Tuesday that Elizabethtown Hematology Oncology PLC and its owners agreed to pay $3,739,325 to resolve allegations that they submitted false claims for payment to the Medicare, Medicaid and the military’s medical provider for extending the duration of chemotherapy infusion treatment to patients and inappropriately billing office visits for infusion therapy.
The settlement agreement says that owners Dr. Rafiq Ur Rahman and Dr. Yusuf K. Deshmukh from 2006 to 2013 unnecessarily and improperly extended the duration of chemotherapy infusion treatment times for their patients so they could make more money. It also says they and their clinic falsely billed for office evaluations of patients receiving chemotherapy.
“Manipulating treatment protocols and lengthening infusion times to increase reimbursement reflect an extraordinary lack of regard for patient welfare and the integrity of our health care system,” Hale said in a news release.
Some of the allegations emerged from a whistleblower lawsuit filed in 2011 by Dr. Ijaz Mahmood of Elizabethtown, who alleged the clinic, to inflate billings, developed written protocols that increased chemotherapy infusion times by a factor of three or more beyond what is generally recognized.
He said Deshmukh and Rahman gave patients the appropriate dose of chemotherapy, but diluted it and prolonged treatment for hours so that they could bill more to Medicaid and Medicare, which pay in part based on how long a procedure takes.
The government may still prosecute either defendant and they are subject to federal tax charges.

Tampa Bay (FL) jihadist guilty of plotting terror attacks on Americans

TAMPA – Jurors in the trial of a Pinellas County man accused of plotting a terrorist attack in the Tampa Bay area have found him guilty on both counts.
Prosecutors said Sami Osmakac was acting on his extreme religious beliefs when he tried to launch a terrorist attack in Tampa. He was arrested in January 2012.
The jury found Osmakac guilty of having an unregistered automatic weapon and trying to use a weapon of mass destruction.
The panel took less than seven hours to reach a decision.
Osmakac faces a possible life term.
Osmakac is a naturalized U.S. citizen who was born in Kosovo.
Agents said possible targets included night clubs in the Ybor City area, the Operations Center of the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office in Ybor City and a business in the South Tampa area.
Osmakac was placed under surveillance after an informant told authorities he had asked for al-Qaeda flags.  In November 2011, Osmakac and the informant discussed potential targets, according to authorities.
The informant ultimately introduced Osmakac to an undercover FBI agent.
The trial lasted three weeks.
Sentencing is scheduled for Oct. 7. Osmakac lawyers plan to appeal.
