Boko Haram Suspected in Nigerian Market Massacre

— Thu, 2014-05-08 08:39
Another vicious terror attack in Nigeria has left anywhere from 120 to 300 people dead.
Scores of gunmen reportedly opened fire Monday at a busy marketplace near the border with Cameroon.
The attackers set fire to homes and shot those trying to escape during the 12-hour massacre.
Authorities suspect the radical Islamic group Boko Haram carried out the assault.
Boko Haram triggered international outrage when it kidnapped more than 270 school girls in mid-April.
The U.S. and several countries are sending help in hopes of finding them.
