This Explains That

Meet Isaac and Rosa Blum. They fell in love in a ghetto in Nazi-occupied Poland in 1942. As German troops were marching them with other Jews to Treblinka death camp, Isaac had an idea.
“I saw her walking in front of me,” Mr. Blum recalled. “I went up to the German and told him, ‘That’s my sister,’ even though she was my girlfriend.”
They were both pulled off the line and sent to work as slave laborers. They survived the Holocaust and married. Today he's 94, she's 93, and they've been together for 75 wonderful years.
Happy Valentine's Day from This Explains That.
