Peters on Nat'l Security Agenda: 'Yogurt Has More Intellectual Structure'
Lt. Col. Ralph Peters tonight slammed Susan Rice’s speech on the United States’ national security agenda.
“Secure, expand, defend, leverage – her four points. Bill, that’s not a strategy, that’s a bumper sticker,” he said.
Peters called the address at the Brookings Institution “mush,” blasting it as “an exercise in self-congratulation.”
“The yogurt I had for breakfast had more intellectual structure," Peters said.
Peters said his “barf factor” kicked in when Rice cited “our unparalleled leadership.”
Lt. David Hunt also weighed in, saying that the U.S. must put soldiers on the ground if it wants to destroy ISIS.
