The Supreme Court in a unanimous 9-0 vote strengthened the law that states if someone is found guilty of domestic violence, even if no actual violence was proved, they can't own a gun.

What part of 'shall not be infringed' regarding the 2nd Amendment do these 'justices' not understand?
To take someone's gun because they have been involved in domestic violence will NOT stop domestic violence from occurring in the future. These 2 issues are not related in any way.
If you want to stop domestic violence you need provide some sort of treatment for those who engage in it. You need to help children recover from it so they don't perpetrate it in the future, etc, etc. You need to address the issue at the cause...not take guns!
Thinking that you will stop domestic violence in the future by taking someones gun is completely idiotic. Think someone will stop mid-fight and think 'I better not hit this person, the authorities might come for my gun'? Of course not.
And, taking someone gun for engaging in domestic violence will not prevent a death in the future either. If someone is going to take another person's life in an act of violence they will use whatever is at hand. If there is no gun, they will use something else.
This is nothing more than a justification to strip away 2nd Amendment rights. They start stripping away your rights by finding something that seems 'just' and agreeable to everyone - to find something to attach it to that is hard to argue against. For example, if you disagree with this ruling, well you can be accused of condoning domestic violence - or some such ridiculous thing.
Now that your 2nd Amendment rights have been limited, it's only a matter of time till the next 'excuse and justification' is created.
The fact that the atrocity of domestic violence is used as a means to strip away Constitutional rights is sickening!
