“Not A Victim Of The Sequestration…”
Sending both his and Michelle’s “warmest greetings” to Muslims around the globe,Barack Obama has also gifted almost an additional quarter billion dollars to the Muslims in Syria, as posted by the Borneo Post (of Malaysia) on Aug. 10, 2013 and also in a Presidential Press Office release of Aug. 7, 2013.
With the end of the Muslim month of Ramadan comes the Feast of the Fast-Breaking, correctly known in the Islamic world as Eid al-Fitr, the Obamas announced via their press secretary both their best regards to the followers of Mohammed as well as adding an additional $195,000,000 to the already $1,000,000,000 the American taxpayers have already sent to the war-torn West Asian nation.
Not A Victim Of The Sequestration…
In part, as released by the White House:
To help the many Syrians in need this Eid al-Fitr, the United States is providing an additional $195 million in food aid and other humanitarian aid, bringing our humanitarian contribution to the Syrian people to over $1 billion since the crisis began.
Not done yet, the Obamas went on to insinuate that Islam’s Eid al-Fatr is the equivalent to Thanksgiving and the Fourth of July:
For millions of Americans, Eid is part of a great tapestry of America’s many traditions, and I wish all Muslims a blessed and joyful celebration.
Obama’s Muddled Message…
It was unclear if Obama has authorized the pile of cash to go to the regime of President Bashar Hafez al-Assad or to al-Qaeda allied rebels Obama has publically supported.
Despite Obama specifically citing the suffering of Syria’s Muslim civilians, no mention of the Christians who constitute 10 percent of Syria’s population.
The First Couple ended their Eid al-Fitr message with the traditional Islamic salutation: Eid Mubarak (loosely translated, Blessed Holy Day).
