False Teaching Exposed: Serpent Seed Doctrine

It has come to my attention that this evil doctrine titled, “serpent seed” is followed by many, and taught by false prophets/teachers. Let’s take a look at how this lie came to be.
1. What is the serpent seed doctrine? This horrific teaching teaches that Eve had sexual intercourse with Satan (the serpent) and that is how Eve bore Cain. William Branham taught that the fall of mankind started with this alleged coupling, and that Cain was a fertile man/serpent hybrid. Daniel Parker, Arnold Murray are false teachers who agree with this doctrine.
My Comment: This has got to be the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard, and trust me I’ve heard a lot. It is a devilish lie, used to confuse those that would believe in such a thing. The Word of God says in

Genesis 4: Adam made love to his wife Eve, and she became pregnant and gave birth to Cain. She said, “With the help of the Lord I have brought forth a man.” Later she gave birth to his brother Abel.

2. The serpent seed doctrine teaches that Eve claimed she was “seduced” by the serpent/devil.
My Comment: In studying what William Branham lied about, and he has lied/twisted the Word of God immensely, the seduced angle clearly goes against God’s Word.

Genesis 3:13 Then the Lord God said to the woman, “What is this you have done?” The woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.”

What does deceive mean? To conceal the truth. So Satan deceived Eve, into eating the apple. He hid the truth from her, NOT seduced her.
3. Actual quote: William Branham stated, “What did he do? He begin making love to Eve. And he lived with her as a husband. And she saw it was pleasant, so she went and told her husband; but she was already pregnant by Satan. And she brought forth her first son whose name was Cain, the son of Satan.”
4. Actual Branham quote #2: “And if the serpent’s seed was spiritual, then Jesus was not a man, so the woman’s Seed was spiritual. They both had seeds, and the enmity is still there. The serpent had a seed. And if you’ll just take your Bible and get down and be real reverent before God, I believe God will reveal it to you.”
My comment: NO WHERE in the Word of God is there scripture supporting this. NO WHERE. It is a complete baseless lie taught by Branham and his followers.  

2 Peter 2:1-3 But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction. And many will follow their sensuality, and because of them the way of truth will be blasphemed. And in their greed they will exploit you with false words. Their condemnation from long ago is not idle, and their destruction is not asleep.

My comment: On a personal note, the word of God is the complete truth, always has been. If someone comes up to you with what is not in the Word of God, defend the truth, and rebuke the lies of the devil.

1 Timothy 4:1-5 Now the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith by devoting themselves to deceitful spirits and teachings of demons, through the insincerity of liars whose consciences are seared, who forbid marriage and require abstinence from foods that God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth. For everything created by God is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving, for it is made holy by the word of God and prayer.

My comment: We are close to our King’s Coming than ever before, and doctrines taught by demons, will become a common thing. Put on the armor of Jesus Christ, bury yourself in his Word, so that when teachings like these confront you, you can stand against Satan’s ways.

Ephesians 6:10-18 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.
