LaBarbera: White House celebrates immorality

A pro-family activist who works to expose the truth about homosexuality says it was a "sad day" when President Barack Obama recently hosted a reception for radical homosexual activists at the White House.

Approximately 500 pro-homosexual and radical homosexual activists attended the reception on Friday marking "LGBT Pride Month." Obama touted his administration's work to advance their agenda, including repealing the ban on homosexuals openly serving in the military. Then the chief executive took a shot at those Americans who oppose homosexual "marriage."

"Americans may be still 'evolving' when it comes to marriage equality, but as I have indicated, personally Michelle and I have made up our minds on this issue," he said -- a comment that was interrupted with applause and cheers. (View AP video report to the right)

The president also stated: "As long as I have the privilege of being your president, I promise you [that] you won't just have a friend in the White House, you will have a fellow advocate ...."

Peter LaBarbera, founder and president of Americans for Truth about Homosexuality, laments the president's comments.

"The reality is homosexuality is nothing to be proud of. You're not proud of a sin -- and homosexual behavior is sinful. We all know from the Word of God," he tells OneNewsNow.

"It's also destructive and it's very unhealthy. Of course, none of that is talked about in these celebrations at the White House. This is a sad day."

LaBarbera says Americans can only hope that there will come a day when they do not have to witness immorality being celebrated at the White House.
