Do not neglect – August 01, 2014
My children, do not neglect to seek Me, to work on our relationship. Get to know Me more and better. I have much to reveal but you must seek to hear and receive from Me. Do not be complacent, satisfied with what you know about Me and My Kingdom already and have received from Me. Seek more revelation, the supernatural, be persistent. I reward those who diligently seek Me. Draw near to Me and I will draw near to you also. I am always faithful you can trust Me.
Do not neglect to worship and praise Me for who I am and for what I am able to do. Be more thankful and do not complain. I know your situation and circumstances, I am in control, I will work things out for good according to My plan and purpose. Trust Me, I do not fail.
Everyone has a part and must fulfill My plan and purpose as I wish. Many are negligent, they procrastinate or they are not willing to do My will. I know every heart and all motives. Do not neglect to do what I command, My will be done. Be faithful and obedient to Me and My Kingdom. Your reward is with Me. Each one will give account for their deeds.
Do not neglect to do good, be different. Let your light shine in a world that is full of darkness. Do not be darkness yourselves, then you only deceive yourself. Do not neglect My Kingdom, it is your Kingdom also. My calling and gifts are irrevocable. Work while you can. Make use of every opportunity. It is not My will that anyone perish but that all repent to have eternal life. Do not neglect your duty, to do My will as I guide and lead you to expand My Kingdom.

COURT RELEASES 'FAST AND FURIOUS' INFO WITHHELD BY OBAMA

A federal court has ruled that the Obama Department of Justice must turn over to the non-profit watchdog group Judicial Watch an index of materials related to the “Fast and Furious” gun-running scandal that were withheld by the White House under executive privilege claims.
Judicial Watch sued because the government didn’t respond to its Freedom of Information Act requests in June and September of 2012.
The ruling by Judge John D. Bates of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia forces the Obama DOJ, for the first time, to provide a Vaughn Index, a detailed listing of all documents that it has withheld from Congress about the scandal along with justification for each withholding.
“Once again, Judicial Watch has beat Congress to the punch in getting key information about another Obama scandal – this time, the Fast and Furious outrage,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton.
Fitton said the information could, for the first time, provide specific details about “who in the administration is responsible for Fast and Furious lies to Congress and the American people.”
“This is a battle that put Eric Holder in contempt of Congress, saw Nixonian assertions of executive privilege by Barack Obama and a hapless Congress in face of all this lawlessness.” Fitton said.
“Finally, we may get some accountability for Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry and the countless others murdered as a result of the insanely reckless Obama administration program,” he said.
Guns tracked by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives were found at the scene where Terry was killed in December 2010.
Fast and Furious was a DOJ and ATF “gun-running” sting operation in which the Obama administration allowed guns to be sold to illegal straw buyers so they could be tracked to Mexican cartel dealers. But only about one-third of the 2,000 weapons monitored were recovered, and no high-level cartel figures were arrested.
Judicial Watch said the documents at issue are about how and if the Obama administration misled Congress about the Fast and Furious matter.
The DOJ claimed turning over the documents would interfere with the department’s continuing litigation with the House Oversight Committee concerning documents subpoenaed in October 2011.
In September 2012, Obama asserted executive privilege over the documents.
The ruling announced Thursday by Judicial Watch, which took place July 18, overrules the Obama Justice Department’s request for an almost indefinite hold on the organization’s legal right to obtain the information under the Freedom of Information Act, the judge said.
The court will require the DOJ to turn over a Vaughn Index of documents, arguing many of the issues to be resolved in the case do not overlap with the House committee’s case.
In fact, the court suggested that disclosing information to Judicial Watch might resolve the legal case between the Obama administration and Congress that is before Judge Amy Berman Jackson.
Judge Bates said no court has ever “expressly recognized” President Obama’s executive privilege claims that his administration is using to keep the documents secret from Congress.
The Judicial Watch lawsuit for Oversight Committee documents is one of several FOIA lawsuits it has filed to obtain information about scandal:

Lieutenant General William "Jerry" Boykin

Today's news of another 16k reservists being called up in Israel is no surprise. Here are my thoughts:
1) Israel was surprised by the number, extent, and sophistication of the tunnels in Gaza. As good as their intel is, this was an intel failure. While they knew that Hamas was using underground facilities for storing rockets and missiles, the tunnels coming into Israel were a surprise. Certainly they were aware that some tunneling had been done over the years, they had no idea that it was as extensive and sophisticated as it is.
2) Because of that, they now have no choice but to stay in Gaza and destroy the tunnel system. Given that Israel has already lost almost 60 soldiers, they must see a clear victory here. They are not leaving soon even if there is a cease fire. Any cease fire would have to allow them to finish the destruction of the tunnels or it would be a relatively meaningless agreement.
3) The IDF has found Hamas to be much better organized and capable that last time the Israelis were in Gaza. Hamas is storing missiles in UN facilities and forcing the IDF to hit them. Hamas is also using civilians as shields in order to ensure collateral damage. Israel is always on the losing end of the propaganda campaign.
4) As a matter of principle, America needs to show tireless support for Israel. They are a democracy in a cesspool evil despots who rule with fear. Israel has been a friend for 66 years. We do not have to agree with them on every issue nor do we have to like their leadership. ( I happen to have a very high regard for Netanyahu) But we need to stand with them and take every opportunity to show that support. From a Christian perspective, I am one of those who believes that there is a biblical mandate to support the nation of Israel.

THE DAY OF THE LORD WHAT DOES BIBLE SAY ABOUT THE FUTURE OF GAZA? Exclusive: Joel Richardson shows what will happen to area when Jesus returns

As the focus of the world is now fixed on the Gaza Strip, students of the Bible would do well to stop to consider what the ancient Hebrew prophets had to say about the future of this little piece of land. Let’s consider a few passages. First, according to the Scriptures, the return of Jesus and the subsequent judgment will largely revolve around what the prophet Isaiah referred to as, “the legal cause,” or “the controversy of Zion”:
For the LORD has a day of vengeance, a year of recompense for the cause of Zion. (Isaiah 34:8)
No doubt, today the “controversy of Zion” rages throughout the nations, as the state of Israel seeks to crush the Gaza-governing Hamas, a group with the stated goal of exterminating the Jewish people and setting up their capital in Jerusalem.
According to several prophets, the controversy will only intensify as we draw closer to the return of Jesus, when a vast coalition of nations will invade Israel and surround the city of Jerusalem, seeking to commit the final genocide against the Jewish people. The prophet Joel tells us that the Lord will execute judgment against all parties involved in this invasion, and specifically any who force the dividing of His land:
I will gather all the nations and bring them down to the valley of Jehoshaphat. Then I will enter into judgment with them there on behalf of My people and My inheritance, Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations; and they have divided up My land. (Joel 3:2)
Jehoshaphat is the valley that runs north to south, between the Temple Mount, and the Mount of Olives. In Matthew 25, as Jesus was actually sitting on the Mount of Olives looking down at the Valley of Jehoshaphat, He declared that when He returns, He Himself will sit as the judge of the nations. He declared that He would judge the nations specifically based on how they treated his “brethren.” It is clear that Jesus was harkening back to Joel 3, actually inserting Himself into the passage as YHVH, the divine Judge. We must also note that Joel also informs us that the judgment will be based on how the nations treated “My people and My inheritance, Israel” and also on their having, “divided up My land.”
As the prophecy continues, it goes on to speak of the Lord specifically executing vengeance against those from the regions of Lebanon and Gaza who have engaged in violence against the people of Israel:
What are you to Me, O Tyre, Sidon (Lebanon) and all the regions of Philistia (Gaza)? Are you rendering Me a recompense? But if you do recompense Me, swiftly and speedily I will return your recompense on your head. (Joel 3:4)
Where it says “Tyre, Sidon,” and “the regions of Philistia” one could nearly insert Hezbollah and Hamas. It is nearly pulled from today’s headlines.
The prophecy, of course, is not speaking of every single inhabitant of Lebanon and Gaza. The specific emphasis of the prophecy is on those who have sought out “violence” to “shed innocent blood” in the land of Judah:
Edom (shall become) a desolate wilderness, because of violence against the people of Judah, for they have shed innocent blood in their land. But Judah will be inhabited forever And Jerusalem for all generations. And I will avenge their blood which I have not avenged, for the LORD dwells in Zion. (Joel 3:19-21)
Like Joel, so also does the prophet Ezekiel reveal that Jesus will come back to execute judgment against those who embrace and foment the “ancient hatred” directed toward the Jewish people and shed the blood of “the children of Israel”:
“Because you have had an ancient hatred, and have shed the blood of the children of Israel by the power of the sword at the time of their calamity … therefore, as I live,” says the Lord GOD, “I will prepare you for blood, and blood shall pursue you; since you have not hated blood, therefore blood shall pursue you. (Ezekiel 35:5-7) (emphasis mine)
While it is clear that Jesus passionately loves all peoples and is grieved over the loss of innocent life on both sides of the present conflict, the Scriptures are also painfully clear that when He comes back, because of the aforementioned violence and hatred, the region of Gaza will be devastated. The prophet Zephaniah, in specifically speaking of the Day of the Lord, warns the inhabitants of Gaza to repent; “Seek righteousness, seek humility. Perhaps you will be hidden In the day of the LORD’S anger.” Then comes a very stark description of what lies ahead for Gaza when Jesus returns:
For Gaza will be abandoned. … Woe to the inhabitants of the seacoast, the nation of the Cherethites! The word of the LORD is against you, O Canaan, land of the Philistines; and I will destroy you so that there will be no inhabitant. So the seacoast will be pastures, with caves for shepherds and folds for flocks. And the coast will be for the remnant of the house of Judah, they will pasture on it. In the houses of Ashkelon they will lie down at evening; For the LORD their God will care for them and restore their fortune. (Zephaniah 2:4-7)
Now, for those who are seeking to take a middle-of-the-road stance, it may be a hard pill to swallow that much of Gaza will become devastated and deserted, being left for the righteous remnant of Judah. This, however, is exactly what the prophecy declared. This is not a historical prophecy. The prophecy is ultimately pertaining to the Day of the Lord and the Return of Jesus.
Does it shock anyone that world events are now aligning more and more with the state of affairs that the ancient Hebrew prophets spoke of just prior to the return of Jesus? In pondering all of these things, we must all tremble. For in truth, through this passage the Lord is not merely warning those from Gaza, but everyone – Jew, Palestinian, you and me – to righteousness, humility and repentance. If we hear this warning and genuinely take it to heart, then as the prophet says, “Perhaps [we] will be hidden In the day of the LORD’S anger.”
